The Tourbox Neo is the ultimate controller for creators. I've been using the Tourbox Neo over the last 3 months and now I want to share my insights.
Is the Tourbox Neo a worthy companion to Adobe After Effects. Could the Tourbox Neo be the turning point in your motion graphics workflow?
To get started I go over the basics of how the tourbox works by showing you how to set it up so that you can hit the ground running. I share some of the road bumps I ran into while using the device, and how I currently have it configured to work with my set up. This is a neat little controller that has a lot of potential for creators. It's versatility means that no matter what creative software you are using, there is a way to take advantage of the control it gives you over your work load. A big thank you to Tourbox for sending this over for me to tinker with.
If you've picked up a NEO for yourself, head over to Tourbox website and grab my preset. www.tourboxtech.com/en/preset... and then filter by After Effects.

There are many reviews on the Tourbox Neo and its application with some other creative software. Here are some reviews that I found helpful:

Center anchor points and render would be a good one, also for the knobs you can use it for colour
This is very well thought-out. Did you try thee haptic feedback on the Elite version?
Nice Video. Where can i find the "nest" Shortcut for the TourBox ? I cant find it.
Cool bro
Thanks bro
Awesome stuff! I just got my Neo today :) Would it be possible to show me how you mapped the knobs/dials to adjust properties? (I know you said it wasn't super effective, but I'd like to try anyway). Thanks! :)
I don't remember the hotkey for those, so you'd have to look them up in edit>keyboard shortcuts, then then just apply the hot keys to the knob in the tourbox software.
Was there a way to select a property, and then use the scroll wheel to scroll up and down with the values? I find dragging the mouse left and right to be good for getting to the range I want, but then I have to use the arrow keys to step up and down to the exact value I want. I wish I could just get all this done with a knob or a wheel, and I'm not sure the Tourbox is going to be that useful to me if I can't do this.
Thanks for your review!
did you find a solution?
I use Stream Deck :) and i am happy!
I’ve been doing the same but just got the tour box elite. Gonna test it out to see if it’s more efficient
Off-topic but what monitor is that? I'm still running double monitors and one is dying so I've been wondering about a horizontal stretch monitor like this.
Samsung CRG9
I prefer dual monitors because of the vertical pixel height is larger. I run dual true 4k monitors for a wonderful 8k plus I can flip one of the monitors vertically for coding.
Can it be used to replace the mouse for Premiere Pro?
No, I don't think so.
@@TheKeyframeAcademy Thank you
Now just make Keychron keyboard review :D
Here is my review: get one!
Yeah, I've been looking at one for a year or so now :D I am looking for a wireless mech, but from what I've talked with them on social media it seems that they use 40ms delay connection, which isn't great for gaming which I would like to use it for. Still thanks!
Is that why I keep getting roasted in warzone??
@@TheKeyframeAcademy Well, it adds additional latency, the lower the better, obviously no human is able to react with 40ms but all things add up; display delay, input delay, ping...
So maybe it is a small part of the problem. Also writing this my headphones just started tickling... Might need to look for those also, eh.
Ha I jest, but I usually leave mine plugged in. Though, I'm not aware of very many other wireless, RGB backlight, mechanical keyboards in the k4 layout.
