I use these techniques for pipe and drape that I rent out in my event rental business.
    This channel is dedicated to my journey running an event rental, photo booth and bartending business starting from the beginning in my garage (see how far I’ve come along from the beginning so far). Ill show you tips along the way! Watch me grow subscribe and comment often!

    Wow!! thanks. Just spent over $1700 on pipe and drape sets for an event, then realized i was 2 uprights short. Went to order the uprights, which costs $60 ea but canceled the order after seeing that shipping was $386 due tonit being shipped to a residential address. I had to laybthe same shipping for the 1st large order but wasn't will to pay ot for 2 poles. Thanks for this. Definitely going to give it a go
    Btw, i started a tent rental business because of you. Keep inspiring ❤

    Totally doing this for my 360 photo booth rental for a backdrop at weddings! Seems like it can pretty easily be broken down to fit in my vehicle for travel purposes.

    Wish I saw this last year before I spent over $2500 on 3 pipe and drape kits cause the shipping is nuts for them. I must ask did you buy the bases?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, I bought bases for $29 each from SES in Edmonton. But I’m going to make some and make a bulk steel sheet order when I’m ready to jump into trade shows.

    Did you also make the cross bar or was it purchased?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  2 роки тому +1

      I purchased the crossbars.
      Shipping of uprights was one of the main factors why I had to rethink getting more because an 8ft upright has an oversized shipping cost. However the 6ft crossbar did not.

    Nice idea but the drape is not fire proof.
