AMS plays it role on higher altitude skipping or not skipping lukla doesn’t have any role in this. The route we took is more scenic but narrow trails .
Yes we carried varieties of it considering the limited availability of Indian snacks on the trail and the number of days we would be on trail. We divided food equally into our bag packs.

Generally, throughout the year people come for trekking but April-May and September-November major crowd come for EBC Trek.
Can you confirm if skipping lukla like you did will have AMS issue? Also which route is scenic, the Lukla route or the route you used?

Harsh we had gone without guide porter and majorly we cook our own lunch so it was approximately 30k per person.
I hope you were informed enough to go up via Phortse, not Tengboche. Much more spectacular high trail on the west side of the valley.
Yes we did via Phortse only but to our hard luck that was a cloudy day 😕
How heavy were your backpacks 🎒? Did u hire Porter? Is there video of ur packing list?
Radha Carried 8-10 kgs while I was carrying 13-14KGs we did it without porters. ✅
