Oh man, I think they’ve definitely made their mark just because if it wasn’t an Impala or a bomb, it was the Gbody. I mean in the 90’s at least in my experience, the homies were rolling in ‘em cuz they were dope af. I’ve always had a soft spot for 80’s Monte Carlos just cuz the body curves were so smooth and to me although Oldsmobiles and Buicks were similar,the Monte always stood out as being the slickest. So I’d rank ‘em fairly high up in lowrider history. I mean if you ask me what comes to mind when thinking of a lowrider, I’d say Impalas then Gbody but that’s because of what I seen mostly growing up in the 90’s.
