variable NDs dont work with wide lenses either. square filters are really the only way to go for landscape photograhy since you can use the oversized polarizer for wide angle lenses without any vignetting and you have much more control over your horizon with grad nds and filter stacking than screw-on filters.
Hello! It would be interesting to compare this system with the relatively new systems from Freewell K2 and M2. Perhaps you or your colleagues have such experience or considerations. I would appreciate it. I'm faced with a choice.
Good stuff. I think I’d prefer this smaller form factor over traditional matte boxes, especially for informal run and gun shooting. Btw, there are a few matte boxes, like the Nisi C5, that include trays for 4” filters
A good review that goes through all the important points. thank you

Is there no adapter ring for 86mm filter size ?
@@faizhernando9185 The kit only includes the filters in the package. Other filters are available for purchase separately.
@@JoshDiazDOP is there any adapter ring for 86 filter size ? Its hard to find here in indonesia 🥲

Agreed. I also like the smaller form factor. I didn't know the C5 came with a smaller tray. Thanks for the tip!
Comparing them to a variable ND isn't very reassuring.
I figured that would be most people's point of comparison. Either way, they performed quite well!
