Super looking scenery! Great film and atmosphere of this amazing trail. I like the fact that you were very descriptive of the hike! Editing is done so beautifully!
Thank you so much 😊 the scenery was incredible and the footage still probably didn’t do it justice but we love rewatching it as it is an amazing place.
I call that first hill heart-attack hill! I've been a few times - stunning area and magnificent walk. Thanks for the re-visit. It seems the choice of weather there is windy or hot.
Thanks again what a stunning place. Really enjoyed this Canyon those cliff faces are something else heard a lot about Kings Canyon but never actually seen much on them so thank you for this great video. Personally from one who gets scared on high carpet some of those cliff edges needed some yellow paint 🤣
Thanks Brenton 😊. Definitely a few areas that Victoria would not allow anyone on foot to enter and with the wind blowing as hard as it was we got down low to get some of the footage on those higher cliffs!!
The wind is a pain in the butt!! We don’t use either of those but we do have a rode that we didn’t have on as it’s also a pain especially when we’re hiking as it is wired etc. the sane happens in this weeks episode going up today at Uluṟu. We will look into the ones you mention and see if they might work for us. We use a gopro10. We did have a media mod on it originally but it can’t go in water with that on and it’s annoying to take it off and on all the time.
@@lappnitup Yep the wind is everywhere in Australia! 😆😆 If you are using Go Pro, your only option is as you know the media mod and an external mic with a wind gag, such as the Rode you mentioned. Audio is one of the weakest points of the GoPro, it was not really designed as an ‘A” camera, but rather for action and B roll footage. I agree it’s a PIA ts,ing the media mod on and off…but your videos would be sooooomu h better with better audio. Food for thought. I hope that helps?

It sure is heart attack hill!! I think they should put a lift in for us oldies!! The rest of the walk is not too strenuous though 😊
Nice video. We have done this some years ago. Would hardly call it a walk, but most definitely the best hike in the NT. Cheers!
Thanks John 😊. Yes they should really call it the rim long hike!! We’ll worth it though 👍
Gr8 ep guys … a very special place 🤙🍻
Thank you 😊. It sure is an incredible place 😊

Great video guys but i think i Might have to do a bit of exercise training before i can attempt it thanks Ron
Lol Ron and thank you 😊. A little bit of fitness is needed but not too much. The first part is the only hard part but can be done in bits!!
@@lappnitup thanks i will keep that in mind see you later Ron
Enjoy your videos, just a pity about the wind noise on your mic. What mic do you use? Do you use a “deadcat” wing gag?
Keep up the good work
