@5:00 I think the word or term voodoo is highly stigmatized like, sometimes you can feel unsettling presence off of things but I don't feel that way about this and I looked at everything of art before it was called voodoo. I get a very deep sense of peace from that place
I remember reading that the Democratic Republic of Congo had specific hieroglyphics and things that you would see also in Egypt but I feel like Benin was one of those places from the previous Moorish or melanated exploration, that has so many like sculptures and hieroglyphics. And I'm not just saying that like the way it's spelled is popping out to me I swear
