You CAN steal stuff, but it will take you a LONG time before you can actually sell it. You really don't NEED to steal as there is so MUCH LOOT in the game. Dint sell ingredients because you wont get much for them and they are better used to make valuable and useful positions.
It's always very jerky to watch someone playing with mouse and not as smooth as with controller but that's just what it's like. The game looks pretty much the same as in vanilla just a little brighter and crisper. Lol I think survival will come later when you are a bit more familiar with game.
