Hunted deer in the snake mountains last year, never saw moose but did get a letter from the game department asking me to let them know if I did have a moose sighting. Nevada is an awesome place to hunt

I have a question for Cody.S ? Is there any laws about harvesting stage mule deer ?
Well, you have to draw a tag, first and foremost. But if you do, you can shoot any buck. Nevada Record Book has some stories and pictures of stag mule deer bucks.
@rosshill2565 I'm talking about the bucks that had no balls 🤣 and that have velvet on there antlers in the middle of the fall?
@TheBigFish8708 I know what you're talking about. Be it a buck with no balls or Doe that grew some antlers, you have to have a tag. You can not just go shoot a buck or Balless Buck or Doe with antlers because it is a stag/Doe with antlers without a tag. You can not shoot any Big Game animals in Nevada without a tag. Now, as I said, if you have a tag and shoot stag or even a Doe with antlers, you are good but also tagged out. There is no back door way to shoot a big game animal in Nevada just because it is a freak or one that can not breed without a tag.
@rosshill2565 thank you for the info I've hunting for years now and do the tags as well just wanted to double check on harvesting a so called stage deer never had seen one until a few years ago

He didn’t know how they arrived at their buck to doe ratio and they don’t know what the hunters want.. the guy on the top right was checking emails half the time..
I don’t mean to be an ass I’m sure they’re doing everything they can but there is a lot they can’t control. I’m sure he gets a lot of emails lol
watch the ndow and commission meeting on tag quota approval. Pretty stupid how they were adding in a huge fawn recruitment of 2023 into the buck to do ratio for 24 season where over half of some of the herds buck to do ratio was going to be 1.5 yr olds come fall of 24. Why the commission shot down most proposals
