  • Anansi and Likkle Bird is a spoken word piece by writer Lois South. The piece responds to Liverpool's historic role in the transatlantic trade of enslaved people, the weight of the legacies on the descendants, and her personal connection to the International Slavery Museum.
This film was created as part of the Waterfront Transformation Project: our plan to create welcoming and contemplative public spaces across our waterfront sites, for everyone to share and explore Liverpool's heritage.
Included in this vision is the transformation of International Slavery Museum into a prominent museum with its own front door.
