Camping at 9,830 Feet: Our First Night in the New Build

- Join me and my dog, Ace, as we test out our new extruded aluminum car camping build on a beautiful overnight trip. We spent the night at a secluded dispersed camping spot at the top of Uinta National Forest, sitting at an elevation of 9,830 feet. Setting up camp was a breeze thanks to the pre-built setup, but we faced a challenge when Ace couldn’t get comfortable in his sleeping area. I had to readjust his setup for the night to make it more comfortable for him. This trip was a perfect test to identify what needs tweaking for longer adventures. Despite a few hiccups, the overall camping experience was a success. Watch to see our adventure and the lessons learned for future trips. That is a crazy orange juice drink for BREAKFAST!! :) But, what a beautiful, gorgeous camp site! Looks pristine and just lovely . . . . to me! :)
Yeah Ace seems like a HUGE ball of energy, good luck. I have some friends who tire their dogs out with a lot of walks and fetch. ❤ Happy Travels Rachael! 🤙🏾
I love how ace talks to you! I hope he continues to improve as you travel. ❤️
Hi Kim!!
I hope you you are well! I am impressed of your knowledge of tools and how to use them. You did such a nice job with your buildout. 🙌
Thank you! Credit goes to UA-cam university and lots of googling.
Don't worry. I've been trying out several dogs now on a trial basis. The current one is fine, and she's watchful. The only downside is the hair loss. My car looks like another sort of pet on the interior 😢😢. Soon I'll be on the road trip 😃.
Wow, Ace makes the Energizer bunny seem lazy! I did see the previous video - the last part was tough to watch. He seems like a lot to handle, but I have mad respect for your not giving up on him. And I love that you give us thought bubbles for him. Does he know any basic tricks? Like sit or shake? If not, it could be a good bonding experience for you both. What a beautiful location and lots of space for him to sprint!
HAHA, Energizer bunny doesn't have anything on Ace. Lucky for me, he's been my only dog so I don't know any different. He is really smart. He knows all the regular tricks and I've tought him some more.
Hi Rachel, Glad to see you're doing well ... camping again. All the best from me...
Hi Lois! So happy to hear from you 🤗
@@RachelinRealLife I've missed you ... a few health issues but I'm back ... glad to find you doing the things you love ...
I'm so sorry to hear that you've had health issues! Glad you're back and hope you get better!!
It is very far distance to walking around the spot
