Seat Concepts I think make the best seats around. I bought a seat from them for my KTM 890 and rode just over 12-hours in one day with no problems. So worth the money.

I've had the complete KLR650 low seat for a few years with the gripper top and carbon fiber sides and I love it. Much improved from stock. My Dad used my old pan and we did the commuter kit for him but he's looking to replace it with a low now so the coupon code is handy thanks.
I have a SC seat on my 19 Super Tenere. The angle and the stiffer padding make all the difference on a long ride.Best modification I have made as well as best bang for the buck.
I ordered mine after about 250 miles on the new KLR. Wanted something a little lower without sacrificing clearance. Can't wait to get it on the bike. Hoping it is as comfy as everyone says!

i have the tall comfort on my 890r, what i like the most about it is the fact i can pretty much lock in my calves at the narrow to wide transition when standing on the balls of my feet...always go SC, got'm on 3 bikes in the garage

I'm looking to buy a Seat Concepts replacement for the stock seat on my KLX250, which is a torture device. The rep failed to describe the carbon fiber only version in this video, which is the one I was considering. Do you know anything about that option? BTW, I'm a long time street rider just getting into dual sport and I've appreciated your videos.

I have a Seat Concepts on a KLR. It needs a re cover but, it's had 3 different arses on it over the years. The 2015 and newer KLR stock seat is very comparable. Roughly the same price. But SC has a bunch of extra color options and grip areas. Gets very custom with skinny bikes.✌
Wide ass points are the best. You can always lean the bike at stops to accommodate the wider seat. Time wise, you spent 0.000000% stopped. So the trade off is inconsequential.

They recommend stainless staples which are a little hard to find and you end up only using a small part of the package. How about including a strip of staples with the seat?

It was great leaning about seat concept from your Chanel . Could you please ask them to offer KLR 650 , 22 model complete seat instead of just foam and cover . They have complete seat until 2019 KLR model . I ordered low comfort ,but had to cancel after realizing that it will be upholstery project for me . Some customer does not have time and not interested to go through reaping the foam out , then all those intricacies. We just want to pay for complete seat and should work like plug and play .
I am waiting for the complete seat from them . Hope you can convey them to expedite .

Concept to send my stock seat to them and only $25 for replacing old stock foam with their foam and cover . It would have taken around 2-3 weeks in whole process and during those time I could not ride my motorcycle .
If they already have complete seat for KLR 650 until 2019 , what is stoping them to offer same for 2022 model .
BTW, their customer support and sales is the best , very helpful and professional .
They offer me to refund if wanted to cancel , I said yes and refund was in 2 days .

Best money ever spent for my bike but I live outside of the USA and the shipping costs and taxes are a pain. But again; best money spent. Where I would've only able to ride 150km on the stock seat I do a easy 300km+ now (on small roads and offroad) before I need to take a break (CRF250L '19, Tall comfort).
Gonna order one as soon as funds become available. Will the discount code be good for a while? Wonder how close the red is to matching the CRF's?

Still waiting for my seat...everide recomends the sheep skin cover which is on my list.
Totally worth it. Got sheep skins on my bikes. Add a Seat Concepts and it's gold. Comfort and eliminates monkey butt. Everide wasn't wrong. I also followed his advice. Did the Idaho BDR twice last year on my KLR in comfort.

Slightly disappointed that the promocode no longer worked when I finally got around to upgrading my seat. Good video though, helped me decide on a semi-gripper.

Yeah the only issue is the last bike and current bike I own they only make seats that make the bike taller. On bikes that are already some of the tallest ADV bikes there is. And they clearly know people want short seats because on both bikes they put a note like this - ***ATTENTION This seat is 1” higher than the OEM seat***

@@DorkintheRoad Just FYI I placed an order before trying DRKNRD and emailed them about it afterwards saying I forgot to add it. They got back to me and said "the code you are referring to was posted last year and has since reached its maximum number of uses/ been deactivated."
To double check I went through the order process again up to the checkout and entered DRKNRD and it did work for 10% off. Hoping the CS rep just didn't know about the code yet they'll adjust it for me. If not I guess I can cancel and reorder.
