📹HIGHLIGHTS | 36 new Swiss Guards swore their allegiance to the Pope in the Vatican. Pope Francis received the new recruits earlier in a private audience. On May 6, 1527, 147 Swiss Guards died while protecting Pope Clement VII during the sack of Rome.
