Burnt and Broken was written after my umpteenth friend came to me with a story of assault. Toxic masculinity and rape culture make it "normal" for men to act this way, and make it "bad" for men to be vulnerable. It's time to flip that cultural narrative completely.
I had the honor of singing this song with two incredible colleagues, Kaiti Jones and Hayley Sabella. Singing with them gave me such strength. Thank you, Kaiti and Hayley. Just, thank you.
