DJ, that's a great question. By local lender, I mean somebody that does a lot of loans in your local community, somebody who cannot afford to have a bad reputation from letting you down. The large, online lenders are more about churn and burn, you want somebody who has local ties to the community and who lives and dies based upon their local reputation.
