Funny thing about the character behind Willie at 1:31 is Harman/Ising’s character, Bosko from when they worked for Leon Schlesinger and Warner’s animation studio between 1930-1933. You’d think a lawsuit would be in MGM’s hands, but no. After Harman/Ising left Schlesinger and WB, they went to the MGM animation studio and took Bosko with them. Hence why he makes an appearance.
