I just bought a 650rwhp ZL1. I would have preferred a 2013 ZR1 but it was a $30k difference. Love the C6 ZR1's!!!

Just ran across your video. Congrats. I have a 2011 Cyber Grey. Looks almost identical to yours. C6 Vettes have a problem with paint rash (rocks) forward of the rear tires, hence the clear bra in that section.

Never powered coat chrome! Always have them media blasted before coat so it adheres. By doing so you basicly remove the crome. Done my older c6. Good vid. U earned a sub here!
The only thing I don’t really like on the C6 are those damn headlights the C7 style lights they make for these would be 👌🏾
Old Corvette guys and their chrome wheels. You can always tell the age of the Vette driver by those wheels.

Notice a lot of corvette videos coming out of Michigan....I'm in NY.....Like I commented in another video cost of living and home prices are no where near where I live in NY.....Basically means more money for toys.... For the price of a used C6ZR1 55-65K that would not even be close to a down payment for a home in NY..... 2 years rent would run you 55-65K...Happy motoring...
That’s not an odd area to clear bra on the rear fenders. That area gets tattered hard by rock chips. More than any area on the car.
There are differences from any dyno to another, even comparing Mustang to Mustang or Dynojet to Dynojet, but no Mustang is going to read 13% lower than a Dynojet. Not if they're both operating correctly or the operator knows how to work them correctly. There are a number of "Mustang vs. Dynojet" comparison videos on UA-cam and the ones I've seen (full disclosure it's like six), plus my 30+ years of experience working on fast cars and motorcycles, show that ratio closer to 2-3%. PFI Speed posted one last year with a Honda S2000 (granted, not a ZR1) and there was only a 2whp difference. If that Mustang is working right and it read 653whp I'd say a Dynojet should read about 675whp. Now if we're talking crank horsepower then it all sounds right. The C6 has about a 13% drivetrain loss so 750hp at the crank will equate to almost exactly 653hp at the wheels. Either way, it's a gorgeous car and Cyber Gray Metallic... like mine. I am surprised that the powder coating person who wouldn't do it because it was chrome, as all they had to do was bead or sandblast the wheels, then powder coat them.

Dude. My 2013 Base C6 LS3 with stock bottom end end, blower, cam and headers runs 720hp with a street tune on 93....all day long.
780 at the track spraying meth and more spark. 820 on the Dyno if I push it hard.
You west coast guys need to understand how to tune an LS
