      Hi Glenn, cheers mate. Yeah from my experience, the height sometimes varies based on how hot the ground is. Just test as you go with different heights for different grounds. Nice slow pumps you hear the machine work the balance just super. ;)

    The Gold Monster is definitely tricky to get a handle on! Also, depth is still pretty good around manual 7 or 8, just so people know they aren't required to run on manual 10 100% of the time. It's no effort at all to change settings so don't feel like you can only use one.

    That’s some determination to get that small gold.....!!
    When I find areas with lots of small bits I like to catch targets in my scoop and the throw it in a bucket...
    after catching thirty or so targets (it which takes all day lol) I then proceed to pan out the dirt to find my targets...
    I get surprised with how much trash i find but there’s usually a few nice peices if shiny if not more :)
    It’s faster then trying to fish the gold out of the scoop.......
    you could almost double your take I think 🤔

      Hey hey Minin, yeah thats true hey. I actually done a few hour plus episodes on Patreon explaining that, and using the GM1000 to not just find targets but certain hot spots as well to find pan gold has helped too. Nifty little machine

    • @MinelabGold
      @MinelabGold  4 роки тому +3

      Hi Rick, thanks mate. Thats fantastic you got a GM - good luck with that. Yeah the skids on the GM's will last a long time because you rarely push in hard and not often even have the coil on the ground due to touch sensitive. Some spots allow it when its super smooth and flat. But anyway all good just pop off. Yep thats correct not for water that would be no issue its a build up of iron dust which would be more an issue. Enjoy and good luck

Quiet noisy who cares I find gold hey 48th, to be honest I hardly balance because I am well use to grounds and sounds - I think people would complain if I done a video on how to turn it on and off they'd probably still say Oh mate nah thats not the right way to turn the on button on. I have been thinking about that particular model actually, price being a factor of course. I want one purchase that will be adaptable to as many different scenarios l might come across. • @MinelabGold
      @MinelabGold  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Billy, thanks for watching. It depends on the size of gold, big gold the Gold Monster will find but if its too deep it wont find it. Like all detectors the smaller or bigger the gold and deeper it is they just eventually cant find them. Gold Monster 1000 is really good for finding super small specimen gold in rocks.

    Nice video man ! What’s your opinion for max depth for searching nuggets? Greetings from Bulgaria!

    • @MinelabGold
      @MinelabGold  3 роки тому

      Hello Dido, thank you for watching. The GM10 coil would get slightly better depth for bigger targets. I primarily use the GM05 coil because I use GPX and GPZ for gaining depth. In regards to the settings - the machine does get deeper with Auto Plus but you have to be in the perfect ground conditions always for it to achieve that depth. For example a slightly mineralized ground the machine will auto tune down to lets say 9 or 8 where as with Manual I use it always in Manual 10 on sensitivity that way I know I am always gaining that sensitivity. Lets say you hold the coil in the air then Auto Plus would gain more because we arent introducing any ground mineralization. So for me I use Manual 10 and All metal for searching. Hope that helps

    • @MinelabGold
      @MinelabGold  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Rogers, thats correct manual 10 you will get ground balance from taking the coil up and down. It loses balance when changing grounds, it can stay stable for a while or could go out with in a few steps. All operators are different and its just a matter of choosing what works for you or works best in each ground type. As for ground balance just test in certain conditions, if its super hot grounds like in one of the videos I done with the monster no matter what we do we cant get rid of the noise because its too hot with iron. Thats the joy of having such great sensitivity we will always introduce ground noise the higher we go. Hope that helps and good luck M.G
