Stock 1991 Nissan NX2000 T-Tops 5sp. LSD Rollbar Super Rare & Unique

Here’s a walk around video of my recently acquired 1991 Nissan NX2000. This FWD hatchback came with a 140hp 2.0L SR20DE engine, factory LSD and upgraded brakes and suspension (over the B13 Nissan Sentra SE-R). Only about 10,000 of these came to US shores. Overseas they weren’t known as the NX2000, but rather a 100NX. There was also an NX1600 with a 1.6L 4pot engine. Please like and subscribe to see more videos of this car and some of my others!

I have always loved these. I had a 97 SE-r with the SR20DE in it. Loved it. Had a computer upgrade swap, intake and headers. It moved. I miss it. should of kept it.

Hahaha, yeah, tell me about it. 14-inch tyres are damn near impossible to find lol. I'm sitting here right now, waiting for a secondhand 14-inch tyre to be delivered to get my little NX-R back on the road. How ironic I come across this video and you even mentioning the tyre drama with the 14s.
I'll be moving up to 15s early next year to not just solve that problem but to get some decent-looking wheels on mine. Yes, mine does have the factory wheels and you would be welcome to them when I swap over next year but mine is on the other side of the world lol

Commented on Under Appreciated Survivors. Try going the N/A route and build an SR20VE. Once upon a time I went with a W11 Avenir and used the SR20DET for my B13 SE-R but there’s something about going N/A in a really light car. If you go VE, a 6-speed is almost a must and the choices were a P12 SR20VE with bell housing or the B15 SpecV’s without any serious modifications but now you can use a K series trans without modifying as there is an off-the-shelf trans adapter and mount kit now. Just food for thought from a fellow S13 and B13/B14, and ED/EE/EG/EJ/EH/EM/FA and DA/DB/DC and NA/NB chassis owner.

My first car was a 91 Nx 1600 no t-tops, so many good memories in that, I always wanted a 2000 with the t-tops. I hope you find the parts you need, I remember the truck struts were 300 each so I just used a stick. Also up here in Canada my door locks would freeze so I would have to climb through the trunk lol. good luck.
