Hey Nurul! Thanks so much for watching this one. It was such a great day to be out on the water. So glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks heaps.
And when the fish comes home every part of it is used. Such efficiency of use is to be congratulated
Great work on that line Thomas & Sheena!
Thanks mate! Bloody good day out. Thanks for watching!
good work, use a canvas cloth to safely unhook fish. would like to get some fishing when back in NZ
Thanks for watching Jennifer. Hope you enjoyed this one. After lots of research on the subject I believe wet hands is the best method to handle a fish (with the very best method being to not handle them at all if possible). I used to use a cloth but I’ve moved to the wet hand method now. It’s something I’ll always be keeping an eye on and making sure I’m doing the best practice though. Hope you can get to NZ soon for a fish! Thanks so much for watching. Thomas 😀
Congratulations guys on your new channel. I don't fish but I love watching fishing videos because I love to eat fish 😁
Thanks mate! Haha too right re eating the fish. We’re so lucky to have such great access to this incredible fresh fish. Thanks so much for watching. Cheers, Thomas 😀
Hey guys! Always excited to watch your stuff, whatever it is! I don’t even like fishing though there was never a chance I wasn’t gonna subscribe and watch every episode! You two show everything so well that I very much enjoyed it AND i always love to eat fish so I could imagine the sashimi and the dinners you were gonna make! Yum! Keep it up and best of luck and I’ll make sure to let those I know who DO fish watch it!
Hi Jaci! Thanks so much for watching this one. Even though you're not into fishing we hope it gives you a great insight into our passion and what it's like to go fishing here in NZ. It's a really special thing to be able to do. And eating all that incredible fish really is the icing on the cake. Thanks very much! Thomas 😀🙌
Congrats on the new channel guys! 🎣🐟 Thomas you're such a pro! First 4 casts and 3 fish.. and the way you commentate you sure sound like you're not new to this coz you're so good 🙂👍 Well done Sheena on the camera work 🙌 Awesome stuff guys ❤️🐟

So stoked I stumbled across this video, iv recently brought a softbait set up and I also have a 4m inflatable rib, I usually fish out of bucklands Beach heading towards waiheke. Think I'll go buy a zman softie after seeing this haha keep up the great content
Thanks for watching mate! That’s cool you head out of Bucklands Beach. I used to live out that way so know it well but I’ve never fished it. How are your results? Those motor oil Zman baits amaze me. The results speak for themselves I guess! Thanks again for watching. Cheers, Thomas
@@chasingacatch6017 has its days like everywhere else mate, found myself motoring over to the rangitoto channel the last few weeks as the bites been consistent
Nice one. Thanks for the info. I spend a bit of time out there as well and find in consistent also. Cheers.
Just came across your channel awesome stuff. Earned a new subscriber 👍🏽
Thanks mate. So glad you enjoyed this one. Cheers, Thomas
Hi from the UK and another TrueKit Discovery owner, I have a few videos fishing from my Discovery etc on my channel. I was in NZ a couple of years ago and loved it so much😎I look forward to more of your videos - I've also subscribed.
Hey mate. Thanks so much for the support. It’s cool seeing TrueKits out in the wild all around the world. They’re a great set up aren’t they. We’re loving ours. Thanks very much for watching. Cheers, Thomas
Such great fishing and all done from a small inflatable boat!
Thanks for watching 🙌😀
So awesome! Great name for the channel! When I make it to NZ, we'll go wet a line! Are you planning on going after the giant trout you have down there? Congrats on the new channel! I'm sure it'll be a huge success!
Thanks mate! Loving your fishing adventures. You’ve got to get down here one day soon. Some crazy good trout fishing to be found. It’s not something I’ve done much of at all but it is huge here. Thanks so much for watching this one! Thomas
True NZ life…..
Sure is. We’re so lucky here. Thanks for watching. 😀
soft bait? please explain
They’re a type of soft lure that you work through the water to imitate a bait fish. They’re an absolute ball to fish with. Thanks for watching TA!
Easy work down there.
Sure was that day Don! Such a fun day of fishing. Thanks heaps for watching mate. Thomas
Looks like you rigged the zman upside down!?
Hey. Thanks for watching. Do you mean the clip of me putting it on at the beginning? If so you put them through (as shown) then twist the bait and put the hook through again (not shown) so it comes back out the top. Cheers, Thomas
Actually looking again you must mean where I’m talking about having to tidy it up. I’ve gotta say it does look upside down. I totally don’t remember it being that way though. If it was I really screwed up 😂😂
@@chasingacatch6017 yeah starting at 6:43, you just rolled on with it LOL. I thought it was a secret technique haha
haha I'll go with secret technique 😂 Too busy yapping on to the camera to notice lol 😂
