Cheap RC Mini Crawler gets BIG UPGRADES!

- Remember the cheap $69 mini RC crawler that I got from Amazon? Well you guys wanted me to upgrade it, so I got some parts for a Kyosho Mini Z 4x4 and installed them on this tiny rig and tested it out. Is it better than an axial SCX24? It's definitely cheaper than the competition, but how does it perform on the trail? we install some wheel weights, some brass hubs and some new adjustable shocks and put them to the test.

Furitek makes a Mini-Z 4x4 brushless motor. Not sure if this is the same platform though. Amain says MX-01 chassis. At $125, it'll more than double your vehicle cost, even including your current upgrades lol. Spektrum makes a generic 1/24 brushless motor and esc combo set for $100.

Next def. needs better tires, that'll help tons with what you've added. Plus upgraded rims n tires will make it look a lot better too...😉
I added the RGT 13612 wheels and tires (big grip improvement)on mine with all the same upgrades except the shocks. I have those on deck. I'm debating on the furitek brushless setup. But I love it the way it is so far.

It's a Jeep thing.. Not the RC, the real Jeep Wrangler. They call it "ducked".. If you are an owner of a wrangler and see another wrangler out in the wild that you like, you put a duck on their Jeep.

Have you tried putting lights in the clone? I heard it blows out the electronics on the clone.
Will a PN 70t motor fit? Is it the same stock motor in a normal mini-z??

I grabbed one and the controller wouldn't bind. I ended up throwing the radio system from a wltoys in it for the time being.
Mine acted like it wouldn’t bind once, but I just turned everything off and on again and it worked fine. Weird.
