    I always take the rear skid plate off. Make way less of a mess. 7 T40 bolts & it snaps right off.

      @@RideTheEarthnow yep I guess I will change all fluids at 25 hours when I change oil . Manual says 100 hours for the other 3 but that seems like a long time. Pretty stressful

      @@bigl355 you can if you want but really after the break in the engine oil is really the only one you need to do.
      When I did all my fluids I was over the 100mile mark and the fluids that came out were pretty clean. I went through some deep water and mud too.

    Thank you for the great video!!!! Do I need to do all this after my break-in period?

    • @RideTheEarthnow
      @RideTheEarthnow  2 роки тому

      Hey thanks!! As far as I know it is good to do an just an oil change. I did all the fluids because I was in some deeeep muddy water.

      If you type in small grease gun in Amazon there are a ton. Like this one. Slippery Pete Mini Pistol Grip Grease Gun. Heavy Duty Design for 3oz Cartridges. 12 inch Flexible Hose and 5 inch Rigid Extension Pipe a.co/d/avpMsnI

    How much fluid do the gearcases usually take?

    • @RideTheEarthnow
      @RideTheEarthnow  2 роки тому

      For the gearcase and trans you fill it up till it oozes out. Polaris doesn't even give an amount in their videos. The manual says the Rear is 7.1oz and the front is 9.3 oz. But fill them both up till it comes out the fill hole.
