Hey mate, well done persevering with this series throughout the setbacks, I know that can be hard. Really appreciate your efforts. I think your idea of applying one product to the whole panel is a good one, there’s definitely a chance that previous tests have affected the surface (even though I think you’re polishing between tests, right?). Might be good to see where that goes if you have spare panels to conduct your other tests. The all-star showdown sounds awesome as well!
Thanks mate, yeah I always strip and machine polish the panel between tests and check that there's nothing left on there before applying anything new. Will apply something over the entire panel for a few weeks and watch it carefully woth 2 washes per week to confirm its still all good before using this panel again
Awesome. Start the next test as you outlined in this video. If you can, it would be cool to see you prep this bonnet as a shorts vid or something (high speed, no narration short). Again. Thanks 👍🍻
@@EvolvedDetails it's perfectly aimed at the home gamer so yeah! Appreciate you putting this out there! I guess something that might appeal to that demographic (if that's who you are aiming this at) would be how to troubleshoot issues! You've mentioned this sort of thing before in vids, but a video dedicated to that would appeal to me! Although it might be different for different products but would be nice to know how to pick issues and correct a poor technique!
Mate, I have been waiting on meguiars hybrid coat protection. I have had this product on my ford ranger for 6 months and it's insane. I did two coats, super easy to apply and slick as a politician on budget night..
With the light coating test, all three of those brands you will be testing mention second coats of their products, I’d suggest splitting the bonnet in half with both single and double coats for each brand tested👌🏽*Edited because that made no sense 😅
I think for most of your viewers value is a big component that isn't really considered in your review. I wouldn't really consider platinum potions a winner when based on my research its more than 3X more expensive than what I can buy 5L of Hydra or Hydr02. For future (despite it obviously being Hydra in this case) I think it would be good to announce a winner in terms of value as well as performance for these type of showdowns.
That's why I structure out the results with different categories so people can choose which is the winner to them but really the main thing I'm looking to show is the durability as whichever lasts the longest will usually move on to battle a different product in a future series
Love these types of videos mate. Keep them up helps me decide what to buy in terms of durability. Appreciate the effort you put into these.
Thanks Andrew I appreciate that

Thanks so much for completing this nightmare comparison and well worth finding out how good the Platinum is 👌. Yes please to the " best of" testing😊
Thanks Claudia, wished I had filmed at least one more video in the series but I'll make up for it in the next one
@@EvolvedDetails I'll look forward to your next video, they're excellent 👏👏👏
The platinum potions looks great for 4 months
Yeah the Platinum potions has more than earned its place in my winners circle, crazy how well well lasts
Cool video. Really surprised the Gyeon and CarPro didn’t make it. Well now I know. 😅
Yeah they are still great but just didn't have long life durability for me
Thank you for all your efforts. 👍😁
Thanks Ian

Again. Thanks 👍🍻
Thanks Ian, might do that but I don't really like doing shorts as they seem to affect other videos I've found on my other channel
Looking forward to the winners battle that's a great idea

Yeah I loved it when I used it as definitely up there with the slickest I've used

That’s what I find a lot of these big company’s the products seem to be hype. And not as good as they should be.
Yeah I have definitely found that to be the case in the years doing these videos
Green Dreams is a different formula to Wet Dreams, it's a lot better
Yeah its meant to be, unfortunately I didn't get the same results I get from wet dreams since something seemed to go wrong in this test for me
Final countdowwwwn
Haha
Hey mate since ive been away im thinking your game might be slipping, might be time to see a car guy therapist 😵💫
What you talking bout Jethro?
