also i know this game didn't invent foreshadowing but foreshadowing is the easiest way to get to me. back in season 1 during the mini beach episode, cody talks about how he doesn't know much about his dad except that he was a loser and that he was really good at drawing porcupines. in the dream where you punched the granboard at the start of episode 7, sketchbooks are hovering around in the class and cody's like, i'll understand the significance of this all one day. in episode 14 when mini's drifting in and out of sleep, when she dreams about spying on gma in the cafe, gma references katy by name. and in episode 19, the tv has silhouettes of katy and nori, the one that says mini waits for them to move but they never move again. these aren't like, monumental details. but like oml- it still ruins me to see tiny things come back even if that's a thing that happens in storytelling a lot IM EMOTIONAL OK
@@conni-bun NO BUT FOR REAL THO, nothing gets me as much as vaguely ominous hints of tragedy sprinkled all over the place that mean when you go back for a second run through everything, the tears never stop 🥲😭😭
I really knew that I was a damn psycho for this game when I first played this episode because. I was able to tell that Katy and nori had averaged also as soon as I first saw their older versions because I could tell that their eye colors were itty bitty ever-so-slightly different shades of blue and green than they were supposed to be. I dont think that's normal for me to notice that so fast.. 😭

CRYING AND BARFING ALL OVER THE PLACE. anyway something EXTREMELY cool is that back in episode 21, in the really dark photo of cody in the void, if you turn the brightness and the contrast waaaaay up you can see the silhouettes of a rollerskate and a sketchbook in the background. This discovery was MONUMENTAL for us because it was the first concrete proof of Katy and Nori being alive and not dead like everything before this point had led us to believe. (For context, at this we had already seen what Katy and Nori looked like through sneak peek content)
