Yeah. im glad they spent as much time putting thought into this game as they did cuz this story feels a lot less shallow lol. the old one was kinda like, cody wants godhood real bad and his friends are always impatient with him and swear at him all the time, and losers are ravenous and will tear cody's flesh from bone to suck away his coolness for themselves. okay maybe that latter part is kinda rad. but something isn't right about holden saying the f word

Even though I haven't seen the old demo, it's definitely clear just how much went into this game, but hearing about how it was originally going to go really gives me a new appreciation for how it turned out. The characters are all infused with so much empathy that it makes ckc SUCH a delight to play. Love all these cutie patooties so much 💕 And omg even just the thought of Holden canonically dropping "fuck"s everywhere feels so wrong to me 😭😭
