Hi Whitney! I'm a new sub and I love your videos!! You are a natural teacher. I'm new to ALL of this and still learning my newly purchased (less than a month) Cricut Maker, and watching all of your videos LOL. Everything looks so great. Only thing is that do not have a circuit. I am going to download them and print them out and use them in different ways. Thank you for sharing🤗
I also had a couple issues with the paper sticker paper ( if that just made sense? Lol) The vinyl did great for my haunter mansion stickers! Thanks , as always , for the tutorial! Very informative!
I just subscribe to you thank you so much for showing us this it help me a lot. I have a question though....on the printable vinyl can you use this to iron on as well or is there a specific printable one for HGTV. Again I loved this tutorial tyfs
Thanks for showing I have been trying to figure out print then cut. I think my biggest issue is that I use my ipad for my Cricut and it just doesn’t support all the features. Oh and now I really want the Maker3, those magnets were so cute!
Another option to try for something permanent (say a printable sticker you want to put on your car) you can cut the sticker without an offset like you normally would (not waterproof or permanent), then do the offset ONLY and cut CLEAR Oracal 651. Then you would manually lay the clear Oracal on top of the sticker (just like your laminating method) and the small overhang will keep it waterproof and permanent. That's hard to explain so hopefully that makes sense.
Did you use the deep cut blade in your Cricut for the magnetic stickers? I think I missed if you used an Explore Air 2 or Maker for the magnetic stuff.
Hi Cindi, I just used the blade that came with the machine to cut the magnetic sheet. You can use either an Explore or Maker to cut them. It will make multiple passes to get through everything.
I’m still old school and have the Cricut that uses cartridges, which I have a ton of. I don’t even know if you can still buy them. I would like to have the Cricut Maker, but I can’t justify the cost. Also I don’t know if I would ever learn how to use design space. It just seems to technical for me so I’ll just keep on using what I have until it dies. I’m in need of a new printer. One of the first things I look at is how much is the ink refills and does it use two or five cartridges. What kind does your new one cost?
You mentioned that you’ll use the stickers with your logo on items that you sell, where do you sell these items? Are they for public purchase? I love this video! I’m too chicken to try it but it looks great!
Attaching your images before hitting the print then cut button is a great tip! Thanks for that! It bothers me so much that Design Space puts them in the most random spots.
Have u applied the vinyl stickers to a cup or plate with Modge Podge over it? Wondering if I did a fabric glass plate & put one of those b/t the plate & fabric then put MP over it, (w/o the laminate sheet) if it wld stay & not run or crinkle.
Hi Whitney! I noticed when you were explaining how to do the offset you said to select the offset and the sticker image and press attach, but then it looked as if you pressed flatten instead of attach. Are these interchangeable?
Do you think the Air 2 will cut through the magnet as well or just a maker? I don’t want to tear up my machine by trying, but I’d love to make my kiddos some car stickers for Christmas!
Hi Jodi - this was using my regular blade, so you can absolutely do it with your Air 2 :) Just make sure you set it to the right thickness of magnetic sheet under "custom" and it will cut multiple passes to make sure it makes it all the way through.
Hi Melissa - because I wanted to leave it on permanently I used the laminate because it's 100% clear. All my clear transfer tapes have guide lines on them so you wouldn't see the sticker.
What's the reasoning behind the square being 6.25"x9.25" rather than the whole 8.5x11" (the size of the printing sheet? Just curious - I'm trying to make some stickers of my own and I want them to turn out as beautiful as yours did!!
Hi there! Sorry about that - Cricut changed their system since this video went live making some of the links inactive. But I just went through and updated everything so you can click them now :)
I have tried to do this, following the directions to the T, using the exact same materials and it keeps saying it can’t detect the guide marks! I don’t know if it is because my Air just doesn’t detect it, or what. But I have a brand new Air 2 and I’ve tried both with tape covering the edges (not over the black marks) and not covering the edges, with a purple mat, and it just is not detecting it properly. Anyone else tried this yet with the Air?
Ok, I finally got it to cut but I have tried 3 times with different settings and it is not cutting deep enough. Did you use a deep point blade? I know you said you used the deepest setting, but do you remember which that was? I tried 0.5 and 0.6 with the fine point blade and neither cut through all the way.
Print and cut still wastes so much product. I hope they can change it. That Cricut sticker paper is so thick no one can use it. You have to have a rear feed printer. Thanks Whitney
You can use the print and cut to make custom address labels. 😉 NVM. lol you did it. Only different is that I used the full sheet address label. I loved this video. I'm gonna have to sit down and watch this video again when I go to try it. 😉 Thank you sooo much for this tutorial! I really appreciate it! ❤

Hi Melissa - because I wanted to leave it on permanently I used the laminate because it's 100% clear. All my clear transfer tapes have guide lines on them so you wouldn't see the sticker.
@@Whiskeyandwhit ah, makes sense! Thanks for replying!!
What's the reasoning behind the square being 6.25"x9.25" rather than the whole 8.5x11" (the size of the printing sheet? Just curious - I'm trying to make some stickers of my own and I want them to turn out as beautiful as yours did!!
Great question! This video was made before the Design Space update. That used to be the max print size
U have quickly become my #1 diyer! Everything is great! Also cricut sticker paper is the worst thing ever. I buy the Auntie Tay sticker paper.
THANK YOU! Ooooo where can you buy that? I'd love to try it?
Can you do a video on using Canva and creating designs.
I have one! Here you go: ua-cam.com/video/o4cyV3uM4zQ/v-deo.html
❤️❤️❤️
I had the same problem with the printable sticker paper. It just wouldn’t work
Yeah...that is on my "don't buy again" list. But the vinyl is amazing! I've already bought more of that!
What printer is this? The one linked is no longer available :(
amzn.to/3Ufbq4Q here is a similar one ♥️
I too tried the printable sticker paper and it kept jamming in my HP as well. I was very sad it didn't work.😢 I think it is just too thick.
Yeah I think that's it!
it's Feb 2023.. I tried many of the links you posted, and most of them won't open.. is there something I'm not doing correctly?
Hi there! Sorry about that - Cricut changed their system since this video went live making some of the links inactive. But I just went through and updated everything so you can click them now :)
Hey Whitney when I go to download the files the text is missing. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.
Hi Tina, I'm not sure what you mean by that?
@@Whiskeyandwhit so I opened the file and the only thing I see is the image, the text isn't there. It's just a few of the files. Others are fine.
@@tinaferguson672 Oh! Not every file has text with it, some are just images :)
Do you have an etsy shop
No I don't, I just DIY for this channel
Hi Ginny, are you trying to cut a magnet? Do you know how thick your sheet is? That’s probably the issue.
☹️ I don’t have a circuit.
Hi Christina - no worries! I have a ton of other non-Cricut content on my channel :)
Do you sell your stickers anywhere? #Whiskeyandwhit
I don't have a shop :/
@@Whiskeyandwhit darn! Lol
Yay enjoy!!
I used print then cut to make valentines. Hello Kitty, Sponge Bob and cute little hedge hogs! Thank you for the inspirations! I’m doing stickers now for Easter! I’m making the kids tote bags and “ Starbucks cups”. So I figured all the files I bought I will make them stickers so they can have the whole lot of images.
You rock! I love how you are relatable. Easy to listen to and follow! I’ve made a few things from your videos! Thank you!
Thank you Jennifer! So glad you enjoy my content 🥰
