I really like the new picture you used much better. Didn't realize how dark the original image was until you made it lighter. Fully agree with the decision, it will come out beautiful.
Enjoyed the recording! The new picture looks great! Thank you for the information on the pattern conversation for an iPad! I may check it out. There is a Christmas card photo that I have been holding on to and hoping someday I could get it converted.
Hey Karen, I also run pictures thru WinStitch. What I do is limit the colors to a quantity of 90 and no more. I've noticed that Michell of HAED does not usually have more than 90....maybe 91 at most. Start with that then eliminate the less than 30 colors. That's what I do.
It would be nice to watch your flosstube videos when you stitch this on the diagonal. That would seem like revisiting you stitching on the sister piece.
that is what I am planning on doing. just need to work out a regular schedule for filming. So far after Dark will be on a Monday and that is as far as I got LOL
Wow what a difference. I love the new version. What editing software did you use? I use to use Adobe Photoshop, but my computer crashed and I can't get the new computer to work with the older version of Adobe that I had. The one you used did a great job.
Sally I used what was already on my PC Just clicked on the pic and it opened in an app called designer and I was able to do all the adjustments from there. I was really pleased with the results O believe the app is part of one drive
I definitely like the brighter picture and would love to stitch it with your adjustments. I'm cross country within a page and would probably stitch it using my method. As to you going diagonal, why don't you do the first column, then start your diagonal at that point,

I really didn't care for that image until you lighten it. I am interested to see how it stitches out.
