I am glad you like China! I also love this country. However, regarding the the lighting indicator... I think it is more in the big cities in the U.S.. I've seen them in LA and Chicago. Majority parking lots in the US were built over 30 years ago. It is hard to compare with these new buildings in China. Have to say, the new shopping malls in the US are good too. Just hope that people will not think one place represents the whole country, not matter China or US. Hope you guys enjoy your trip!

They are adding the lights to the parking garages here. If the garage was built within the past 5-7 years or so, they have those lights, although they don't necessarily work properly all the time. The outlet mall near me added a new three story parking garage a little over 5 years ago and they have those lights in the ceiling showing which spaces are occupied and which spaces are not.
Eating stinky tofu is suffocating terror for 1st timers. However once they acquired the taste of it - stinkiness turns into fragrance to love it so much! 😅
Always wondered why they call that stinky tofu. It is actually fermented tofu. It is very similar to fermented cheese. Not as smelly as fermented cheese. It would be easier for people to accept oil-fried stinky tofu. I am genuinely surprised that Ari tasted and liked the black tofu. Besides, I am not too fond of the black stinky tofu.
In China, most dishes (菜) are meant to be eaten with rice (饭). Alone they would taste too salty and strong in flavour. Exceptions are noodles, buns and stir fried rice.
I wonder how many big mall in China are going under? There are a couple of gigantic malls in China are going under. Some of them didn’t even survive first 3 months. I saw that on UA-cam. I was in Clearwater fl in the late 90.i saw one shopping plaza and one medium size mall went under . Five years later, the landlord having a facelift on his shopping plaza and demolished on the mall . Finally, the landlord rebuilt the site, it was booming again.
I never have eaten black stingy Tofu, I was told normally the more smelling the better. No idea it's true or not. I don't like stingy cheese neither, but why majority West here love it? I think all come down if you're used to it.
What are the ways to check out , before traveling, will it be storms and floods. I am waching these days huge floods on all continents and wonder- what should I do to make sure not to get in a trouble somwhere . What is the best way to check it out?

Great to see you have a good time again in China. Actually, Mall of American's garage has the light systems that can indicate which spot is occupied.
Perhaps this system was copied from Singapore, where it has been in use for over 20 years.
Not just in China, some malls in SE Asia have apartments, hotel, office space, sport complex, etc.
And they are available in America too. Go to bigger cities.
We had the parking indicators in California for sometime.

来杭州应该吃吃绍兴的臭豆腐，和其他地方做法完全不一样。这里的臭豆腐核心是霉苋菜梗。
擂椒皮蛋茄子是真的好吃，小炒黄牛肉也是湖南菜的招牌，是真的超下饭
最后那几个菜品其实配上米饭更好
臭豆腐跟榴莲一样，喜欢的人很喜欢，不喜欢的人不爱吃！也不吃榴莲和臭豆腐，现在勉强能接受臭豆腐，但榴莲我是避之不及😂
小豆腐如果開始吃副食品了, 有些軟爛的食物只要不是鹹辣重口味的的, 應該都可以吃了.

xiao doufu 一周岁多了，可以跟着大人吃点饭了，比如蒸蛋羹就很适合小孩吃啊，还有面条什么的。😋
