    My heart felt gratitude to Kevin and Lisa. For exposing these fake online English teachers. I just checked one of the fake online English teachers has got more than 8 million subscribers. Just imagine all these 8 million subscribers come to America thinking that they can speak English. In just 2 years American will be speaking another language that sounds like English but it's not. Same thing that happened to Canada. Canada is no longer an English speaking country. Everywhere I go in Canada, I hear the following languages being spoken, Hindu-English, Nigerian- English, Tagalog-English, etc. And I see this thing is coming to America because of fake online English teachers. I don't know why UA-cam can't stop this. Even American government is just folding hands to these fake online English teachers instead of stopping them. Thank you Kevin and Lisa for being loyal to your country . American government must reward you for the protection of the English heritage.

      It doesn't imply that all natives can teach their own language, look for certified teachers such as the one on the video.
      My native tongue is Spanish, I've met British teachers from the British Council who specialize in my own tongue, they know and understand better than I do, and those I've met are certified to teach spanish. Just because I'm a native in Spanish does not mean I am prepared to teach my language.
      The same happens in English, you could find many who are capable of teaching, just look for certifications.

    Teacher, I have a question, please!!! I understood the use of "up" as completely....fill up, clean up, charge up, etc!!! But, I think there is some cases when "out" could have the same meaning of "up"(completely). E.g.: The verb to sell .... When there is no more tickets to be sold for customers... we say... the tickets are sold OUT, which means (I think) they're sold completely!!! So, why in some verbs we use UP and others, OUT ??? This is the answer of Copilot GPT: In English, “up” and “out” are examples of particle words that can be added to verbs to create phrasal verbs, which have different meanings from the original verbs. The use of “up” or “out” (or other particles) depends on the specific phrasal verb and its conventional meaning in English, rather than a strict rule.
    “Up” is often used to indicate completeness or a state of being finished, as in “fill up” (completely fill), “clean up” (clean thoroughly), or “charge up” (charge fully).
    “Out” can also indicate completeness, but it often carries a sense of exhaustion, removal, or depletion. For example, “sold out” means all items have been sold and none are left. Similarly, “run out” means something has been exhausted or depleted.
    But, I'd like to know the opnion/explanation of a native speaker like you! Thanks in advance!!!

    • @pashu16af
      @pashu16af 2 місяці тому +3

      Because Marina teaches American English, that's why. It's not that British is legal or illegal in US, you can use any English you like. The point is when teaching a specific English you need to be sure you use correct words and phrases. People, while learning, want to know the correct way of saying things in a particular English. You may mix any English you like. And some British words have different meanings in American English, that is the other reason.

    • @MaryJones-fs4wf
      @MaryJones-fs4wf 2 місяці тому +1

      no language is illegal unless you are in Ukraine or Latvia- they actually have this stipulation in their constitution, so it is not anyone's propaganda, but a factual truth. But if a teacher claiming to teach American English she can't teach British English and if she does, it is a good reason for asking your money back if you paid for the lessons.
