I’m glad that Marina makes these mistakes because these videos greatly help me. So thank you, Kevin & Liza, and Last but not least, I'd like to express my gratitude towards Marina. ❤❤❤
Thank you very much, your videos are always helpful. As a native Russian speaker (although I am not Russian) I understand why these people make those mistakes.
Kevin and Lisa, I'm grateful for your steadfast vigilance. Your unwavering dedication to maintaining correct grammar and pronunciation of the American English is truly commendable.
Thank you Kevin & Liza for such a great contribution on showing us frequent mistakes made by Marina and others. It is a great value for non-native speakers even if we live in the USA for some time. God willing!
I just don't get it. Those guys have lived in the US for a long time so they must definitely have friends who are native speakers. They could just ask them to check out their videos before posting them. That's it. Anyway , good luck to them and to you Kevin and Liza!
When I'm done watching this video, I'm gonna put down in my notebook the things you mentioned. Thank you Kevin and Liza for making such useful videos! Keep doing it.
I'm a learner of English as a foreign language myself and I love getting corrected by native speakers because I want to improve. So this is great stuff for me. I hope the UA-camrs concerned won't take offense but take advantage of your correction and thorough explanation.
The main problem that mogilko and other russian speakers face with is that there are so many countable nouns in English, which in Russian are uncountable.
Hello, Thanks for all your astounding and informative videos. I would love to ask: To provoke somebody into something. For instance: I was provoked into the argument.OR He was trying to provoke me into a fight. I have always considered these sentences absolutely correct.
It's SO IRRITATING how Venya and Marina neglect articles!!! probably thinking - oh, it's just a tiny word, it's not that important. And their ego & confidence that they are flawless make me wanna kick their butts!!!
Hi Kevin, just one question Kevin, I understand that if a verb follows the word or verb "continue" that verb can be in the gerund form too, so the example you gave could be: - " I continue WORKING. - " I continue eating. - " I continue sleeping. OR. - " I continue TO work. - " I continue TO sleep. - " I continue TO eat. Is that right Kevin ?. Thanks for answering. 👍.
Thank you so much for your unwavering support.I appreciate your endeavor. I'm confused of something in English Grammar when we use interansitive verb into active sentence structure and I'm willing your help for it. 1. Ex with transitive: You can see me when the blind is taken. 2. Ex with interansitive: You can not see me when I'm gone! the verb go is not following the structure I think! It should be You can not see me when I've gone. Am I right?
Thank you very much for your very useful videos. It is very confusing with the words like "a refund". It's countable. And "cashback" seems uncountable, doesn't it??)
Again, they are in serious trouble. They must stop teaching English as soon as possible and start learning basic English if they have any self-esteem left. If they can't do so, at least they should be extremely indebted to Kevin and Lisa for pointing out their childish mistakes. Bad on you guys. ( Aussi English)
I’ve been getting rid of my Russian accent since I was six and now only the “h” and “v” sounds are still pronounced incorrectly by me from time to time. Fortunately, the situation is improving by watching Kevin and Liza's videos
It's kinda funny that she used the word "provoke" where it shouldn't be used, because in her native language "to provoke" has the same meaning as in English. Probably, she just doesn't know what exactly this word describes.
Venya Pak always says so .....so.....so.... . Too many "so" in the video 😅. He forgets to use the articles before a noun like Marina does in her videos
Thanks, Kevin. Really? Getting back to the British accent? 😂 The one she'd never had? She'd better get back to the drawing board and revise grammar rules, at least before she drops a new video on UA-cam.
Hi I have an inkling that she is intentionally making these stupid mistakes?? I don't know? As an English teacher she is supposed to make an effort to understand these tricky prepositions because let's face it one of the challenging thing for us as learners is articles and how to use them properly otherwise the meaning of the sentence will completely change. God, what was she thinking. I don't understand why she keeps making the same mistakes of uploading her videos without checking her grammar beforehand. How can someone be so evil that the only thing she cares about is money and I find it so frustrating that she has no interest in helping her students to improve their English and reach their fluency goals whatsoever.
That's because we, Russians, don't have any articles in our language. That is why it is so difficult for us to learn how to use them in everyday speech
Hello Kevin, I wonder if Marina watches your videos in which you correct all her mistakes, otherwise I think she won't make them anymore since she repeats the same mistakes. She has no understanding of a basic English sentence structure. It’s no different than a Russian sentence structure. English: Subject + Verb + Object word order. Russian : subject-verb-object. Why does she always drop a verb?

There are also no articles in Russian. So, basically all she needs is to stop thinking in Russian while speaking English.

That's because Russian (their native, first language) has no concept of articles

Help me please
Examples?
It's pretty simple: an adjective describes or modifies a noun. Possession doesn't.
