Four Alarm Fire Destroys Medford Garage

The Medford Fire Department struck four alarms on June 27, 2018, for a fire in an automotive repair garage. Companies went defensive and operated multiple handlines and ladder pipes. Mutual aid from Somerville, Malden, Revere, Cambridge, Everett, and Chelsea operated at the scene, while Melrose, Arlington, and Stoneham provided station coverage | 6/2018

@@911ERV Down here in Auckland, New Zealand we might get 3 or 4 on a fire this size and in other cities you might only have 1 or 2. In some parts of the country you might never see an aerial...or you might have to wait for it to arrive. My comment was very much tongue in cheek...I have other fire service colleagues who are always amazed at how many aerials you can muster to a job.
