The original Black Christmas as well has some awesome creepy scenes too! With the eye peek behind the door and chase, the meat hook in the attic, etc. would get these viewers jumping out of their skin too. Lol.
I think the thing with Western horror is that’s it’s usually far more visual than Korean horror which from what I’ve personally seen is more psychological. So I can understand how they can get so scared.
When a movie called "House on Haunted Hill" came out, I saw it in theaters, I was 11 year old. It was the most horrifying thing I'd ever seen on a traumatic level. Ever since, there hasnt been a horror movie that has scared me. It's like I'd already seen it all and know what to expect. Horror movies dont scare me anymore. Now that I'm 32 years old, the most a horror movie can get out of me is a flinch as a result of a sudden loud sound effect or moment in the music, but nothing visually can get a reaction from me these days lol.
There is a scene in that film where the woman reporter is snooping down in one of the rooms and this tall man appears in the room that's on the other side, and just suddenly appears in front of her screaming, that scene made my life flash before my eyes.
I saw the original black and white version of that movie at 2am once. Scared the crap out of me. The one part where a woman is on her bed and she can hear this sound coming from the hallway. boom, booM, boOM, bOOM, BOOM! The booking sounds getting louder till it's right outside her door. I looked down my dark hallway just waiting for that sound.
Awww adore que ellas estaban preocupadas por el personaje y deseaban que no se apagará la luz xd de igual forma yo estaba rezando por que no lo mate :'3
Scary movies to show: "the ring"; "Veronica" (is a film inspired by real events); "Scary stories to tell in the dark"; "hereditary"; "Saw"; "Babadook". They might also react to spoofs of scary movies, have taken scary movies and have turned it into comedy movies "Scary movie" is super fun and movies are great. To be honest, Scary Stories to tell in the dark wasn't really meant to be scary but it still had the same effect but just the story line incredibly well thought out
I cannot recommend Hereditary enough. I completely forgot about the Babadook though maybe I was so scared after watching it that I decided to erase my memory of it. I'll have to watch it again.

Horror movies from the west have become less and less interesting. It's all about loud music and jumpscares. I do like western slashers though. Asia has great ghost movies.
I think A24 does a great job on the horror movies, it's not really the typical jumpscares or anything. Like, the Witch and Hereditary and stuff. These are western films by the way.
I love videos like this. Cultures coming together or others being explored is something that always brings a smile to my face. I feel like that’s something everyone around the world SHOULD do. The more we explore each others cultures and styles of living, the more we come to a greater level of understanding and respect for one another.
In eastern horror movies ghost and such only hunt for a reason, usually because they have been wronged, while in western ones ghosts and demons hunt because they want to
I believe if the motive is unknown it is scarier, the concept of not knowing your enemy and their reasoning to attack is what makes it truly uneasy (Fear of the unknown messes with everyone). Horror movies in general don't scare me but I do give credit where it's due and I absolutely love psychological horror.
@@goop_6537The motive is not unknown. American horror movies revolves around Christian mythology, we all know why Satan aka evil spirits haunt people. It has been told a billion time, it's not scary.

Never a truer word spoken. 😂
"it" is not a human he is an alien
@yules In the movie it shows that he's an alien
He's an ancient cosmic being, calling him an alien is too simplistic as he was around before the dawn of humanity.

"Grab the Bible or whatever."
"Do something sacred."
Not the worst advice honestly, especially since it's not really a nun but a demon.

PETITION FOR THEM TO REACT TO RAGE SCENES IN US MOVIES
They should react to the classics like Childs Play, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on elm, Saw, Scream, etc.
Trueheros 24 yesss! Some old ones!
Yes and they should also react to Thirteen Ghost.
@@xxokiddoxxoliked that movie too and first silent hill (nurses always scared me).
The original Black Christmas as well has some awesome creepy scenes too! With the eye peek behind the door and chase, the meat hook in the attic, etc. would get these viewers jumping out of their skin too. Lol.
Those aren't even scary they're dope but not scary
"You can't do that as a nun", " Grab the Bible or something" comments on "The NUN" was so hilarious af. i can't stand XDXDXD

ARMY LMAO-
I think the thing with Western horror is that’s it’s usually far more visual than Korean horror which from what I’ve personally seen is more psychological.
And that's why I don't like horror movies✨😌
I saw the original black and white version of that movie at 2am once. Scared the crap out of me. The one part where a woman is on her bed and she can hear this sound coming from the hallway. boom, booM, boOM, bOOM, BOOM! The booking sounds getting louder till it's right outside her door. I looked down my dark hallway just waiting for that sound.
@@SallyGuillen Same! The effect were simple but it was terrifying!
same. watching House on Haunted Hill when I was in high school made me hate horror forever... insidious was another one that messed with me.
They should react to:
Us
A Quiet Place
In The Tall Grass
The Shining
As Above So Below
also get out cause us was made by the same person
Sinister! To date this has been the only scary movie that has genuinely made me terrified
dont forget hereditary
Some of these are not american movies though
Rachey B the movie Us Lowkey went on for too long and lost its scaryness
Awww adore que ellas estaban preocupadas por el personaje y deseaban que no se apagará la luz xd de igual forma yo estaba rezando por que no lo mate :'3
Scary movies to show: "the ring"; "Veronica" (is a film inspired by real events); "Scary stories to tell in the dark"; "hereditary"; "Saw"; "Babadook". They might also react to spoofs of scary movies, have taken scary movies and have turned it into comedy movies "Scary movie" is super fun and movies are great. Greetings from a Spanish woman who lives in France. I love them ! ♥️
Veronica was inspired by real events that actually happened, I didn’t know that
I've watch babadook I think it was nice
african booty scratcher yup at the end of the movie they explain everything about the Police reports and show actual pictures from the real place and everything
Horror movies from the west have become less and less interesting. It's all about loud music and jumpscares. I do like western slashers though. Asia has great ghost movies.
Especially thai and vietnamese horror movies those scare me the most.
Any asian recommendations?
@@Augustlikedecember Art of the Devil II, it's a Thai movie
MewDenise they do have good ghost stories but the movies aren’t that scary either.
In eastern horror movies ghost and such only hunt for a reason, usually because they have been wronged, while in western ones ghosts and demons hunt because they want to
damn this is scary
Western demons hunt because they have been tampered with, they don’t always hunt to for nothing.
@@zohoney9288 True though
I believe if the motive is unknown it is scarier, the concept of not knowing your enemy and their reasoning to attack is what makes it truly uneasy (Fear of the unknown messes with everyone). Horror movies in general don't scare me but I do give credit where it's due and I absolutely love psychological horror.
@@goop_6537The motive is not unknown. American horror movies revolves around Christian mythology, we all know why Satan aka evil spirits haunt people. It has been told a billion time, it's not scary.
What about jeepers creepers, Freddy Krueger, or Jason just to name a few.
Ahhh the classics
IDOL HELL still scary like bruh those shits gave me nightmares for years
@IDOL HELL Yeah but still scary. I know it affected me when I was young.
I doubt they'll find those scary. Unless they show like the original Friday the 13th and Nightmare on elm street, which probably won't scare them too much.
I'm sorry but The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers is STILL nightmare fuel. I'll never forget the "pipe" outside the church scene.
Loved the reactions. Particularly to the newest IT movie. Loved the guy miming smashing his head into a wall. Funny as hell. Also, Chacha is a legit champ when it comes to horror.

normal people when scared: covers eyes with hands
that one girl: covers eyes with her *HAIR* what an iconic queen!
lmfao
3:38 Ouija is actually a real board game we have, you can buy it here in America, I saw one at a book store and was gunna buy it but changed my mind lol. That would be a good video idea to play ouija board
I saw it at a Halloween store before, but trust me you don’t want too play that thing (I heard it isn’t for like playing for “fun” it’s like a tool)
9:01 "I was literally him" 😂😂 i cant lmao
4 Korean Women: OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD!
2 Korean Men: I like the baby's laugh.
Their reactions are so adorable😂😂
7:09 Cracks me up that the girl is shielding her eyes with her friend's middle finger 😂
Lmao 😂😂😂😂😂
honestly a full reaction to the movie "The Mist" (2007 FILM) would be great. It probably has one of the best twists/endings of all time in my opinion. It would be great to have just a video centered on that
The movie terrified me as a child
screamorap That movie traumatized me as a child 😂
Just saw that movie yesterday for the first time and that shit was dope. It's one of the better movies
That movie is so creepy till it's scary
i LOVE that movie the end haunted me bc its not a common ending, left you feeling so sad and helpless lol I always recommend that movie
I've eradicated just about every fear I possess. When I see a horror movie, I say "Challenge accepted." and proceed to watch it.
lol im getting more scared of them screaming out of nowhere then the actual movies jumpscares XDDD
i love stuff like this seeing someone from another culture watching tv and movies from America. its so interesting watching how they react and there comments on stuff like this and other things from their home country that are similar keep it up.
does anyone else NOT scream in fear??? or is it just me
It's not just you 🙃
Tangledairpods well you’re wrong since 26 other people liked the comment🤣
not just you, i don't watch a lot of horror films but I never scream in fear, I can jump a LITTLE at times (when I watched 2018 Halloween) but not full out scared.
i always end up laughing out loud.
I've mever screamed or made a noise watching a horror movie, but I have flinched
So random but has anybody seen the movie, “It follows?” Idk why but that movie scared me for reasons it shouldn’t. 😂
oml that movie gave me nightmares😭
bro that movie is INSANE
I'm going to watch. I'm making lists of horror movies while reading comments.
agree
I saw clips on UA-cam and I was scared shitless. Never ever I am going to watch horror shit again in my holy life
What's interesting in the video is that the people seemed to make themselves right at home, as if it was there couch. They just straight up took their shoes or footwear off and crossed their legs. Typically in other videos, the people will treat it like an interview rather than a viewing experience.
The girl in the checkered dress had the funniest/scariest reactions. The guys are all casual and the girls are almost leaping out of their seats.
you should have them react to like American classic movies or slasher films!! idk if y'all already did that but that would be fun!! I would like to see like what teen Korean classic movies are like too!!
I kept choking on my Pringles throughout this because of the jump scares 😭😭
I really want to see their reactions of insidious again in the scene where the adults are talking in the dining area
YES YES YES PLEAASE , That scene freaked me out and still haunts MEEEE
or literally just the VIOLINS
ua-cam.com/video/Bc_wiE-ylpU/v-deo.html💜💜
Same here!!! That was the scariest scene in Insidious!!! Why didn't they use that one?!
The high pitched violins really make that movie.
The opening title screen is bad enough haha
I was in my best friend's house and we were having a sleepover, it's like a rule of us to watch a horror movies when we're at each other's houses. So we started watching 'the nun'... It wasn't scary while I was watching but after everyone fell asleep my stupid best friend left the candle in front of the mirror, that only terrified me but the worst thing was that when I looked at the ceiling, there was a shadow of the cross. I WAS AWAKE WHOLE NIGHT

I think “The woman in black” would really suit their taste in horror👌
Yeah because it's less jump scares and more tension. Would love to see their reaction to the lawn mover scene from Sinister too.
Yeah, it's quite horrifying

but am i tho only one that hated it 2... it was so ez... all of the it’s were ez compared to the og it
Everybody gangsta untill you watch "The Exorcist Origins";
have you ever watched the Paranormal Activity movies? in the american ones they make all of those classic horror movie mistakes (ignoring the demon, antagonizing the demon, etc) but in the japanese one they do everything "right"... they take the situation seriously from the start, they bring in help from a variety of religions.... and they still died in the end. ;-;
Bunny1412 now that you mentioned Japanese movies.
Do you have any japanese movie recommendations? It can be any genre
@@1412Bunny I'd like some Japanese recommendations too
The end of Lights Out made one of my cousins cry a few years ago.... He's in his 20s. 😂😭

Lol exactly what I'm doing. Glad to know I'm not the only one. 😂😂😂
Same here , except I didn't cover with my hands but a handkerchief
Please do koreans react to fight scenes in action movies in U.S vs Korea!!
Omg yeah they should totally do that
Koreans react to john wick lol
Their screams alone are scarier than every horror movie ever made
I've seen Bunshinsaba, I'm so glad that got a mention, I loved that movie. I also love White, Tale of Two Sisters, One Missed Call, just a few. I love Korean horror
My favorite scene in Lights Out that really frightened me was where the mom talks to her closet and the children ask what she is doing. That was just creepy how the mom was really trying to hide it.
Thank you for including the Korean subtitles!
"Okay, you're doing well." *My thoughts exactly when the person runs away.*
I've watched all these movies(except for The Nun), I screamed.
I watched Insidious with my friend and I screamed, especially when she once screamed on purpose to scare me.
The IT, I've only seen the original from 1990 (I think it was that year it came out) though I watched it in the early 2000's or late '90's.
Oof, I really want them to react to "The ring" Because that movie creeps me out than other movie and that's why I never watch it and just heard other people talking about it and seeing picture of "The ring" :))
To me it's not that scary at all
Omg yes
i think everyone has seen the ring tho
It's not really American horror though, it's Japanese
