AMAZING WALK ABOUT YOU TWO!!!...what a wonderful way to spend my evening meandering with you both taking in all the FABULOUS EYE CANDY!!! ... THANK YOU BOTH ... PEACE OUT AND CARRY ON!!! CIAO BELLA/BELLO!!!
Great showing. Glad 😊💜 to see the American history appreciated and preserved. Everything vintage . Cheers 🥂 to that. Let's continue to restore and preserve. The past is the best as seen
There's something indescribable about a gathering of restored, vintage travel trailers. Takes my breath away. Why is that? Thanks for a neat vid of this rally. Hope to make it next year all the way from southern Cal.
Thanks! I also have Good News :) Events happen all over the US. SoCal probably has the most. I am not an expert at when or where they all happen, but join one of the many facebook groups or search online and you should find a ton. Happy Hunting!
International pickups…around 1975 Dad bought one from the pulp mill he worked at & it definitely was a “character” truck! It was the colour of corn pone so we called it Cornpone😁. The steering was quite, um, loose-think Green Acres & the tractor! A switch to flip for the back up lights (drove around with them on until a cop pulled me over), the speedometer needle swing back & forth as did the tach. It was a three on the tree standard & you took an average of the speed and tach. It was noisy so the only way to know when to shift was feeling the engine through the accelerator pedal. Yeah, this girl can drive just about anything! Love the vintage trailers, or as I can now say, the trailers from my youth 🤣. As long as they’re not older than 1964-can’t remember seeing anything before that year.
Enjoyed your video! My folks had a 1959 Deville, 15ft. Many great memories. My dad had a two tone, blue-white 1966 ford, pickup, had Deville trailer painted to match. Gem top camper schell, with the Honda 90 on front. 14ft aluminum Sears boat on top! Thanks to ALL the folks, who shared with you two, the interiors and stories!! Looking forward to more videos in the future. Safe travels!
Very cool! We have two more trailer rallies this year and several from last year as well as hundreds of Classic Car Shows, Vintage 1950s Tiki, And Antique Mall adventures. Always looking to share great Atomic Era Events, People and Places.
What an enjoyable morning I had watching this video. Brought back many memories of traveling across America camping when we were kids in a pop up. Looking forwards to watcing more videos on your channel
Love your channel! Good to know your an International fan Duke. I’ve got a 71 short box V8 deluxe model. They are awesome trucks! I’ve owned a few but my 71 I’ll own till I die! Love the International in the video, it’s a beauty for sure! Thanks for ALL the great content you two! Later
Dang I missed going to this one, lots of wow . I really liked the log cabin trailer and your a wise man to retreat for the kitty that looked freaked when you walked in. Great job you two, thanks for sharing.
Today your channel popped up, and it lit a new fire under me. I subscribed right away. Six years ago I restored a 1963,14 foot aristocrat. After that, I picked up a 1953 Terry 23 footer that’s in terrible shape it has 2 doors a full bathroom, Apartment style appliances, stove, refrigerator, and heater & a separate bedroom . It has been sitting for 5 years with no work. Thank you for your videos it’s time to move some stuff around and get started.
I enjoyed your video. Those ole vintage campers are so interesting. The people that have the Higgins Camper trailer, did you not know them? Or were y’all pretending to be strangers? Justin & Anna have been redoing vintage trailers for years. They are good at what they do! “Flyte Camp is their business name!
I often know the people we interiew, but I don't always mention it. In this case no... I don't watch TV at all.(Really I don't have time to kill watching TV these days) I was aware of Flight Camp and who they are however. Afterwards, yes we chatted. Nice guy.
Are there anymore vintage trailer get togethers this summer? I have a ‘67 “Summer of Love” Rollin’ Hilton up here in Vanc BC ( GMC 930 with original Vanguard Coach) and would love to see more vintage trailers in person. Great video, great people !!
I have watched a few of your videos and I have not yet seen a Holiday Trav’ler!!! I have a 68 and I’m looking to see if anyone else out there has one. If you see one TOUR IT PLEASE
I love this whole concept. I want to participate, only my trailer will be something like a Helter Skelter theme, with bodies and blood strewn about. What's the prize? Count me in for 2024.
We have a 13 foot 1973 Roadrunner but the paint scheme is incorrect, the restoration guy didn't paint the arrows on the sides. My wife is annoyed her Powell won't pull it.
Recently sub'd!!! Love the trailers. So much to see and learn! You guys have a great thing going. One suggestion Duke, let your hosts talk, you interrupt them and talk over them when they're explaining an aspect of their renovation or another facet of their trailer. Also, use "may I" take a look instead on "can I". May I implies permission, can I implies your ability. Sorry to rag. Your channel is super otherwise!
I can only assume you are referring to when I cut people short as we are always on a severe time crunch. Shooting live events means we can't sit for even 5 mins and talk with someone. We have to move along. I do work on being polite and often we are able to go through how we have to keep it brief etc.... as our time is limited, but often I get talking with someone who does not understand that, and thus have to move the conversation along quicker. It is an ongoing balance, and I get better every year. As for the rest, thanks for joining us after a decade we have a ton of content around Kustom Kulture Events People and Places. :) Vintage Trailers are one small piece of our channel.
Why is it that we can easily find these videos after the fact, but why not advertised long enough in advance for your audience to be able to attend in person ????
The very reason we started our channel was how poorly most events are advertised. Hopefully, if people see an event they like, they can follow it on social media for the next year. Most people think social media reaches everyone and it simply doesn't. All we can do is bring attention to fun events. We don't run them. Glad you liked it.
Ohh I just checked it out... It's his famous slide show. He has been doing that for years. People pay him big bucks to listen to his humorous and exaggerated whimsical spin on everything MCM. His UA-cam Channel is a very small spin off of his classic show.

Oldie but a goodie. We shot the event again this year with many new trailers. :)
Great showing. Glad 😊💜 to see the American history appreciated and preserved. Everything vintage . Cheers 🥂 to that. Let's continue to restore and preserve. The past is the best as seen
Kustom Kulture is our target, but yes we love fully restored Trailers vs gutted and modernized. :)
HI there BossaNova from the D MI USA 😁 hey thanks for sharing another great video of some Amazing Awesome Beautiful old Travel Trailers 🤩👍🔥💖😁
I'm so glad there are people who treasure these and restore them! The golden age of camping!
Thank you for making this overview - thinking about getting into a vintage camper and the "themes" here are very inspirational!
A summer day in the shade with classic vehicles and trailers. That's a great vacation IMO.
You got that right!
So enjoy all the campers! AND you 2 are so personable n knowledgeable
Well, thank you,!

Thanks. Welcome. We have hundreds of videos to explore. :)

Someone who watched Flippin RVs. I work in Advertising and none of my Coworkers ever heard of it.

Fantastic content. So much nostalgia.
How awesome. We grew up in an old Shasta. Loved that camper.

My favorite tow rig was the blue International truck. My son drives vintage Internationals and I have always loved their utilitarian look.
Wow!
What a treat! Thank you so much for posting this video!!!
Love it ! Thx / vintage trailers are the bomb
So cool would have been cool to have been around back when these were everywhere

Love this🎉
Just epic video thx
Awesome video!! I had no idea about this event! I’m only 200 miles away! Thank you for sharing!!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Going to the one this year with our 1963 Ponderosa built in Klamath Falls, Oregon
@@cindyharvey-luff7310 Wonderful. Tell Wade who runs it we sent ya! See you there.
My favorite interiors of the vintage trailers are the ones finished in natural wood.

Nice! Welcome to all things Cool Atomic Era, from Rockabilly, to Kustom Cars, Pin Ups, Vintage Tiki and of course Vintage Trailers.
It would be cool to go there😎
Oh my god a fellow Albany person. I’m in Fl now
Love the log cabin trailer.
I don't normally support gutting an original trailer and doing that, but it was so well done it was amazing!
Since the WGA and SAG/AFTRA strike, I have had some time to binge-watch your channel. You two are the best.
Awesome! Thank you!
I'm going Chevy. Just look at those dual rear wheels.
JC Higgins was the name of the outdoors gear line sold by Sears back in the day. They made some really neat tent trailers.
I am so pleased we have moved on from varnished plywood!
Ahh... well more natural wood for me. More plastic for you. :)
Give me any of these over ANYTHING new....not only are they better looking, but more durable AND appreciating in value
It’s sad when find one cause pretty much have ground up restore but the results are just amazing the classic looks / the lines are incredible!

How can I list a vintage slide on camper that needs TLC but has fixtures for sale?
I've got an old 65 oasis 16 ft . Who would I get to know more about getting it fixed up?

Where did Lola get that dress?? ❤
You can ask her on Facebook. Lola Bossanova.
link to the curtis 10 min video? asking 10/29/2023
It will be out in 2024.
Why didn’t you show any on the vintage motorhome that were there
There were only two. It was an event video, so we can't show them all. :)
I get it just saw a couple in the background and wondered why they weren’t shown, thanks for the reply.

was there any shamrocks trailors
Never heard of those. I'll need to look them up.
Where at in Oregon
As stated at the begining of the video. Brownsville OR.
@@BossaNovaLife :::snark:::
Please show the pink one inside
We didn't see inside.
Most rv parks in Oregon won't allow these vintage campers in their parks.
One of many reasons we all go camping together. :) Multiple events a year
You're kidding. Why the hell not? Better (and infinitely more beautiful) than the ugly sh*t they make now.
While it is a very interesting video, all I saw you look at were the small to tiny trailers! Why didn't you look at the larger trailers?
We looked at all the trailers we could go into. Also several of the larger Spartens etc we shot last year. We have multiple videos on the event.
Funny, Charlie Phoenix is doing a Vintage Trailer show 😅

@@BossaNovaLife sorry! That he wasn’t at Viva, this year!
Oh we see him several times a year. He is at all the events.
Um ...isn't crown royal whiskey?
Yes. I blame it on the alcohol.
Crown Royal is Canadian Rye Whiskey, not rum.
Yes... we are well aware. LOL
Our buddy loves Rum, and Rye Whiskey.
You people have too much time on your hands.................
That's why we are camping.
Is it a requirement to wear a stupid hat to hide a bald head?
Oh no... not bald. I just enjoy a good hat. Hope you get some help. Sounds like you you may need some therapy.
