Hello Lisa. I have been watching your videos for a while and you have finally convinced me to tackle my first Mirabilia. I am a fairly experienced stitcher, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out a ‘right’ way to start a Caron Waterlillies skein. I ended up untying it off the cardboard and I just know that there is a better way. I am feeling incredibly stupid at this point. You explain things so well in your videos. If you possibly have a minute in your next upload, can you show me/us how you do it? Regardless, I love your videos, so please keep producing them. Have a great Holiday Season if you celebrate.
Yay! I am so glad you are doing your first Mirabilia. Which one did you choose? As for the Waterlilies - I don’t know if I am doing it correctly so not sure I am the best person. What I do is use a 18” length from the skein and the depending on what effect am looking for is how I use the color. I will definitely try to show what my method is in a upcoming video.
