House of Bane and Blood is a new favorite of the year for me. Definitely gave it 5 stars. It was amazing. I have Embers in the Snow on my wish list and definitely interested in it.
I picked up flames on chaos years ago after you mentioned it first on your channel and its one of my all time favourite series. The story gets better and I sobbed so hard during one particular scene (even during my re read) definitely power through them. It's amazing
I highly recommend you should read LOD before reading this series. This crossover is done so well. I’m so happy you loved these books, I’m obsessed. And I liked Nocticadia slightly more than Gothikana (which reigned supreme for me in this category).
In my opinion if a book doesn't grab me within the first chapter it's badly plotted, and written. I'm harsh as I don't want to waste my time on boring books.
Are you ever worried that you may be missing out on some really good books? One chapter isn’t a lot, and some of my favorite books of all time took a a few chapters or more pages to get into, and then completely blew me away and weren’t at all boring (to me, anyway. I obviously can’t speak on what is/isn’t boring for others).
Nocticadia is amazing, need more of it!!
Based off of your recommendation I read Rain of Shadows and Endings and LOVED IT! I’m starting the second book now!
