Jame is so clear and straight in his answers and explanations... I'm truly impressed and going to by the book.
It's one of my favorites
My job as a performance and functional nutrition coach is all about creating habits. Dave, I love you imagery of a "Habit Machine". How practical! James, I include your Laws of Habits in all of my nutrition classes. Often when I coach people we start with breaking down the entire lifestyle to help people pick one thing to get the ball rolling. The Laws are (1) make it obvious, (2) make it attractive, (3) make it easy, and (4) make it satisfying. We might not talk about food for months while we build confidence and momentum. Take 2 minutes a day and do it for 30 days! Compounding is amazing. Remove all the zeros!! A good day at the gym is a day you go no matter what happens when you get there. At least it's not a zero! Love it! Grateful for you both! Joyce
Getting into the habit of going back to center! Brilliant!
Stop drop and roll 😃
thank you!!
Dave, your videos are the ones I most look forward to, and this one with James Clear, has again fulfilled all expectations. What an awesome interview, packed with insights and wisdom. My climbing, and connecting with fellow adventurers, and our magnificent planet (outdoors), has lead me to experience and recognize the importance of discovering 'self' at a deep and profound level. I have the sense that following James' advice, challenging unhelpful beliefs, followed by repetitive actions congruent with the identity I proclaim to aspire to, will also lead to profound revelations correlating with who a person really is. Mega thanks!
Thank you! Keep enjoying the pursuit of your potential
Great conversation -- thanks to you both. Atomic Habits was an awesome book -- highly recommended.
