They basically said they want to but are taking a break. My guess is we’ll see it 2 years from now, since the original is three years apart from the first game. The big question is how they wanna handle the enviroment. Dead Space 2 is too linear to be completely free roam, the only idea I could think of is Titan Station being sectioned off and giving clear point of no return segments.
@@TheShapeshifter In some ways I think Dead Space 2 would hurt with it being more open. It has its own unique type of flow, also Dead Space 2 was the first unbroken sequence game before God of War and surprisingly no one has talked about it.
@@chasethecringewolf2195 I might be mistaken, but I do remember at least two cuts in dead space 2. Once when you kill the tormentor and the camera cuts to a random sprawl apartment then Isaac shoots through the window. And another when you finish the drill section and it cuts to Isaac dropping into Earth Gov base. However It Is still impressive for its Time.
Yeah. Im pretty sure this was my second playthrough of the game and I entered the room for the first time. The intensity director is mostly in effect on rooms you have been in but it seems to also effect small side rooms and can do stuff like this. According to ea motive there’s over 1200 dynamic events that can happen. Enemies spawning in hearing whispers, noises in the walls and knocking on doors. Here the lights are off but they come on after a bit, something this room doesn’t always do. And the writing on the walls “Little Eyes little eyes what have you seen?” Felt like an incredibly good combination. I completely forgot it was there. And the fact the lights seemingly came on after I was done looting made the reveal cooler.
@@chasethecringewolf2195 did you notice a TV on the Bridge tram station starts glitching with acid green color and closer to the end its red glitches and marker symbols?
I have bad news for you. Totally real :3 i played the Dead Space remake a few times for 100 percent completion, and yes my experience was different in this room each time. One With lights on One with lights on and enemies And then this. They tell you it works on areas youve been in but not that it ALSO works on rooms you haven’t entered. But its mainly side rooms like these. I dont see many of them but one I can point you too is the first optional room when you head through zero g to get to engineering.
@@chasethecringewolf2195 that is amazing. I’ll look out for it next time I hope more rooms do it too. I was hoping for more hallucination scares like you see in the mobile game
@@CJ-gg2ex I can point out an auditory hallucination you can hear! This one always gets me most. Sometimes you can hear knocking or screaming in the walls or behind doors, and it stops the second you walk through them. The worst one by far is the tram deck in the flight lounge with the door across the room out of reach. Always wonder if they’re all hallucinations or someones dying and trying to seek help. All good shit.

The remake was surprisingly good, better than the original in most aspects I hope the 2nd game gets a remake

@chasethecringewolf2195 if they keep it linear, I'm ok with that. I kind of liked that aspect of Dead Space 2.

The second game doesn't need a remake, but they should completely overhaul the mess that was 3.

wait so... im a little confused:3 what exactly happened? the room was dark then the lights turned on?

No way this is real. That has to be a glitch. But if intentional, that is INSANE

Recently replayed Dead space and I got the same thing. Which is weird because on a previous run the room was lit when I entered.
The Intensity director doesn’t just work on old rooms it works on new ones too.
Wish i could play this remake😢
