Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Jokes aside, Lyle is probably one of the most morally pure people in the Breaking Bad universe. We don't see a lot of him, but in the moments we do, we see a young, cordial and hardworking member of society just trying to get a start in the world. He doesn't even protest to basically getting a tighter schedule upon Gus informing that he won't be in for the whole week, and instead chooses to express his condolences and worries instead.

It's hilarious that there's enough of Lyle to have a 10-minute highlight video

I love the scene where Lyle says, "It's Lylein time," and Lyles all over Hector. Truly one of the scenes of all time.

It's crazy that Lyle is able to keep up persona of normal fast food worker while also leading drug empire that dominates markets from florida up to quebec without police suspecting anything

Lyle is the perfect example of what a phenomenal person is. Sweating bullets and beating himself down just to make his boss satisfied. There aren't many people like him and every time he comes on the screen I'm a fan

He's loyal to a fault tho. Gus took out his nerves on Lyle when he had been nothing but good to him.

After the chicken man blew up, Lyle couldn't even get a letter of recommendation from him. Truly the most tragic thing to happen in the Breaking Bad universe.
