  • The Kortal Race MIPS is a new Swedish safety collaboration, aimed specifically at trail and enduro riders. POC’s product team has essentially taken the helmet development trajectory established with its Tectal and given it more structure, coverage and the most advanced slip-plane liner available.

    Add to it RECCO and NFC Tagging with the new breakaway visor and POC has really taken the MTB helmet to new safety standards. Plus it is now safety rated to protect you at higher speeds!

    *One of the **Latest.Bike** Helmet I've owned, and a great price. Not too heavy, solid construction, and gorgeous!*

    I bought one, it rides a little hot in the front brow area, it's a bit heavy and cumbersome compared to my smith forefront 2. I still like it but I need more time to know if i love it. I wear a 7 5/8 and the fit on the XL fits really well.

    If you're at the high end of the measurements, I suggest a size up. I did that, but I look like a Mario. What size head are you and what size helmet did you get?

      The sizing issue was past POC helmets and it was a side pressure issue, after years on Moto I know when a helmet fits, and going bigger is unsafe.

      I am not sure, I paid for a service for legal music but the names are strange. I will try and find it.

    I’m right between sizes with the tectal, does the Kortal fit any differently?

    • @LoamRoamer
      @LoamRoamer  3 роки тому +1

      It does. I cannot wear a tectal with a similar issue, where this fits like other helmets.

      I would think so, it is a great helmet and pretty light and air flow is good.

    I use a small motorcycle helmet. I assume I'd also wear a small bike helmet too? Can't imagine the sizes are really different.

      Most likely yes. You can measure your head and then look at sizing on their site also.

    I think fidlock buckles are crap ive had a branch unclip one not secure enough if you throw yourself down the road it can come undone just as easily as it does with your fingers

    Dude the background track is very distracting when listening on headphones. Otherwise thank you, I enjoyed it.
