@@generalpierogi7781 Well its a strategy. You get a comfortable lead, and then stack on full defense to make sure the opposing team doesn't even get a good chance. I don’t even care that we lost. But i thought Kane was supposed to be a British star player?! That guy spends more time rolling around & crying than playing football
Back 3 which becomes a back 2 sounds like City. Midfield overloads will mean they generate large number of shots... England will have to defend the center of the pitch and be fast on the counter, they [England] will make fewer but higher quality chances in that respect
Kane not your typical out and out forward, he likes to come in and help the midfield make the passes to open the opponents defense to score!!!! Watkins and Toney are more of your typical English forward who makes at least two passes before running into the penalty box waiting for the wingers or midfielders to cross so they can attack the ball and score!!!!
You might be confusing Murat Yakin for his brother Hakan Yakin. Yes Murat played for the swiss team, but only 49 games (4 goals) with biggest achievement being the qualification for the euros in 2004. Hakan played 87 national games (20 goals) and has also achieved way more in club football.
i think murat will not play the same system against england. i think he will make something new maybe shaq will play from start or zuber and another system.

@@mandranmagelan9430 Yeah, I know, he even denies being Turkish, but he definitely is. You can deny everything, but you can't deny your name and family. Those who claim that he is Swiss aren't wrong since he was born in Switzerland, but for me he's a Turk.
@@janbuchener192 You're right, shameful things happened that day, things that should never have happened. But there's something you missed. Since that day, we played 2 official matches against Switzerland. We beat them in Euro 2008, they beat us in Euro 2020 and both of these matches were played in a sportsmanlike atmosphere. And last year, the match in Euro 2008 was played again with the same squads to support the victims of the February 6 earthquake. We have no hostility towards the Swiss, and I don't think they have any hostility towards us either.
the problem is englands player will maybe unterstand how we play but they will never learn and adapt so fast and can play an answer to it. that is what younger egoistic players can't do because you have to do it as a team, when some players switch or move further the whole team needs to adapt and switzerland does that in like very short time and you don't even realize it because you are in the match and struggling and they are okey now we fuggdem up now lets change the system so that the chance they can break the system sinks again you know what i mean.
Compared to sideways passing England, if you have individuals able and willing to play penetrating and progressive balls through the middle - it doesn't really matter what formation you play :'D
England are shocking and Southern is incapable of changing tactics in the game so Switzerland can easily change tactics as they need to win. So I reckon 2-0 win for Switzerland
I'm happy you won and can continue, because you did definitely play better, but you also played dirty as hell. Gripping shirts and body parts with no foul numerous times (and the swiss did it too, but they received a yellow card almost immediately for something much tamer than the english did a few minutes before), whining to the referee every 5 seconds and divebombing do the floor if a pinky touched them slighly to hard. And not to mention the absolutely disgusting unsportsmanlike teasing your goalie did in the penalties. Give that man a diaper if he wants to act like a child
@@ferrariscuderia4290 Yes, and its something I understand, absolutely! No question there, winning is the main priority. Doesnt change the fact that your goalie and captain made fools of themselves by acting like toddlers. Both of those statements are facts, and I'm not saying they shouldnt have done it. You won due to it - or probably also without it, but no need taking a risk.
England are one of the three cleanest teams in the tournament so far as measured by yellow and red cards. One of the Swiss players should have been sent off for a second bookable offence. He then took a penalty.
It is remarkable how little southgate gets out of these top notch players. A shame really... To call England "a bit of an underdog" is still not really true though. Gonna be interesting.

By the way, your pronunciation of Swiss Players is very nice:)
you should do a video about bielsa uruguay taking into account 2023 and copa america
Kane not your typical out and out forward, he likes to come in and help the midfield make the passes to open the opponents defense to score!!!! Watkins and Toney are more of your typical English forward who makes at least two passes before running into the penalty box waiting for the wingers or midfielders to cross so they can attack the ball and score!!!!
i think it gets overlooked that murat used to be a national player for a long time himself and might have some more insight from a player perspective
@@daniela.631949 games is still a lot
@@daniela.6319 no im not, for sure his brother had a more prestigous time in the team, but i'd believe he probably got to learn a lot as a player too
i think murat will not play the same system against england. i think he will make something new maybe shaq will play from start or zuber and another system.
I am Swiss but this was very intressting! ❤🇨🇭
wo sind mini schwizer 🇨🇭
Xhaka's fucking up everybody just everybody
Murat Yakins tactic skills realy improved, since Giorgio Contini joined the coaching staff.
Nope, yakin was always a genius in tactics
@@schorschgaggo372 😂
In your opinion why west ham playing long ball and don't use regular build up and play regular attack?
As a Turk, I am proud of Murat Yakın. That Swiss team is very enjoyable to watch. We would love to play against them in the semi-finals.
Switzerland have some history with the turkish team.
It will be quit interesting to watch
normally yes, but I don't like switzerland - turkey games after the horrible behaviour of turks after they didn't qualify against Switzerland in 2005. Absolute disgrace
He's swiss, sorry bro. :-)
@@mandranmagelan9430 Yeah, I know, he even denies being Turkish, but he definitely is. You can deny everything, but you can't deny your name and family. He was born in a Turkish family, so he's a Turk for me. I don't care how he sees himself and what others say about his identity.
We have no hostility towards the Swiss, and I don't think they have any hostility towards us either.
the problem is englands player will maybe unterstand how we play but they will never learn and adapt so fast and can play an answer to it.
that is what younger egoistic players can't do because you have to do it as a team, when some players switch or move further the whole team needs to adapt
and switzerland does that in like very short time and you don't even realize it because you are in the match and struggling and they are okey now we fuggdem up now lets change the system so that the chance they can break the system sinks again you know what i mean.
Xhaka Managing them like Leverkusen they are very impressive, what a player.
GS will probably just go to a back 5 and consider that his job done.
If we are lucky he may even make some in game subs before extra time
Compared to sideways passing England, if you have individuals able and willing to play penetrating and progressive balls through the middle - it doesn't really matter what formation you play :'D
Switzerland will win. They love it when they can frustrate better individual players with team spirit and custom-tailored tactics.
Genius
This tactic was played by AC Milan years ago. Don't remember if it was capelo or anceloti.
It's a good thing Southgate mixes it up so much, makes it difficult for brilliant tacticians to figure out how to beat us.
England are shocking and Southern is incapable of changing tactics in the game so Switzerland can easily change tactics as they need to win. So I reckon 2-0 win for Switzerland
Noob
dont forget to mention giorgio contini aswell.
yall mean giorgio contini the cotrainer, he's the genius behind this
Good old times wo de Yakin no FCL Trainer gsi isch. Und jetzt isch er de G vo de Euro, lol.
Guardiola has spoiled the world football everyone want to play possession based football in their styles of play
England trainer taking notes of this video
Switzerland. Fuckall is coming home…
Switzerland should have won the game against England, but the Penalties saved them.
The problem with England is that they do not have a really talented 8 or 10. Those are all from abroad at the English clubs.
Trent would thrive in the aebischer role
There is no such thing as football perfect system nowadays in modern football
Not even looked the video. Just here because Switzerland rhaaaaaaa
Good for us England are coached by Gareth Southgate and not football meta
No way England is beating Switzerland 😂
True especially with that shaky England defense.
Yep
no need to beat if you can draw and win it with penalties
@@WilliamKgasi-mm9enso shaky they only conceded 2 goals, one of them was a worldy?
England is bad but they have their moments. Their player's quality might bring them to the final
they are playing roulette on this gras bro hahaha
Then i wonder why Switzerland can win against France but draw against Kosovo, Belarus, Northern Ireland. They are really inconsistent imo
So sad to see Switzerland miss the semi-final, they played much better than England. Such a shame!
Better team won.
@@bobwilson2357I am confused, did Switzerland win?
Dangerous enough that we failed 😂
Next Colombia Please
Its all because of the new assistant and former coach contini!!
It's called winning, kid. You do what's necessary.
That aged well 🥲🥲
and they are gonna beat England!
No, they won't.
Southgate will loose the game against Murat as he will not adapt to the oponents system. He will keep his system and not change anything..
Switzerland was dominating, if it wouldnt have been for penalties, Switzerland would have won against England
Dominating? Rubbish. The possession and shot stats are more or less equal, slightly favouring England.
I Hope Bellingham gets that ban because of the celebrations ❤❤🇨🇭🇨🇭😂😂😂
It is remarkable how little southgate gets out of these top notch players. A shame really...
To call England "a bit of an underdog" is still not really true though. Gonna be interesting.
