My guess, the previous owner had problems with the window. he made a piece of wood the correct length to hold the window glass up. He left it in the door incase it happened again.
Crap, no. We did a quick fix cause I needed it for a TV shoot. The previous owner installed a replacement regulator at some point and it turned out that THAT regulator was bent. Old dry grease is a common cause also. Let me know if that helps and I can come up with some other potential probs. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for making these videos on the S2000. I have a similar situation with my car. The factory connector in the door was removed at one point. Where you able to find out what connector is on the harness and source a replacement? If so I would love to know what connector it is and where you found it.
You're so welcome, sorry for the late response! The connector on the door harness was cut off on our car for the door speaker so we just directly wired it. Crutchfield does sell the speaker side connector to prevent this from happening. For us, it wasn't worth the effort to try to get a replacement connector. I hope that helps, great question!

Was there ever a part 2? My passenger-side window just stopped working. It won’t go up or down. Here I am.
