I recently acquired some, and I have to say I agree that it has an interesting effect of making me not want other things like cannabis/alcohol. I feel more content to just "be." And this is at very small doses, I took it in the evening two days in a row now and find it easy to go to sleep with it. I got it with the hopes of finding a natural mood enhancer for occasional use, and this seems to be the ticket! I also want to note that potential for abuse seems low, as higher doses tend to induce nausea and diarrhea in most people 😅 however, I have my concerns about possible dependency if one were to use it too often! So anyone who decides to use this, be cautious.
Hi ! For some reason, the Golden Guide entry that is hosted in Erowid's vault for Kanna, mentions the botanical name as being in the genus Mesembryanthemum. Is this just an older taxonomy, or is there a diversity of distinct species that could be an alkaloid-laden medicinal candidate? I am thinking of looking into cultivating the plants myself, and wondering what to look for. Great videos thank you so much!!! 💖💙 EDIT: Okay, after searching a little, it looks like the two genus names are synonymous, and maybe Sceletium is more modern, or at least more preferred/popular. Then there are two "species groups" or branches/distinctions in the genus, Tortuosum and Emarcidum. Apparently there is some diversity of plants that fall into the Tortuosum group or species-group, and those are the plants known to have the desired alkaloids. The plants under the Emarcidum label supposedly do not contain those alkaloids, and I found no information on what they might contain, so I'm gonna focus on Tortuosum plants I guess.
I need to get into a social surrounding with people who know about the benefits of these things. But being from Norway, the world’s largest kindergarten where everything is illegal, it’s hard to find these people. 😢
You absolutely butchered the pronunciation of 'Kougoed', but I am not surprised as it is quite the challenge for non-native speaker! Hope you are well, Shelby!

Great to have you back Shelby!
Thank you. I got more information about kanna in 7 minutes than I have received in the last 3-4 days. I appreciate you being so thorough.
I'll give that company a shot after the holidays. I also got some Kanna powder from MN Nice and they're good people too.
We love their products, truly!
I'll check them out!!!
Just fyi, Heartford has a holiday sale going on right now, the more you buy the bigger the discount.
How was my nice Kanna? I got some amanita from them.
Very interesting! I’ve never heard of this but I’m interested! Thank you for sharing ❤

hi, what is a "recreational lubricant" ?
What is the 30 day group guided experience? I don’t see that mentioned in the sidebar package on the website.
If I have such a plant, how do I use it? Just chew on it?
Solid vid, 4/5 stars :)
Would Kanna be effective for a person taking suboxone?
I’m about to find out
This all sounds similar to Kratom. Can it be sold as powder to put in water to ingest?

Hmmm 🧐.
