Absolutely! It was one of the coolest things we did while there, and the hot wine was great! You do not have to buy anything to eat, it is free to walk around (other than the train to get there)
Hi, can I ask, how long the walk to iglo dorf from the station? Is it a difficult walk? Is it very steep? Is it possible to push a wheelchair to iglo dorf? Thank u
Hi, the video is the walk to iglo dorf. It’s a moderate walk with a steep uphill walk through snow. You will definitely not be able to push a wheel chair since it’s all snow
We are visiting next month.. How much is walking distance from Rotendoden station to igloo village? Also how much was the price for fondue as i heard its overpriced
That’s super exciting! It’s not a far walk, BUT you do have to walk down and up a ski slope which is a bit difficult. The fondue was not that expensive, and totally with it for the view and experience
@@KKJournals well,we got down at Rotendoden Station and started walking and we even saw it from far...But due to not suitable shoes,we couldn't make it there..But it's not far at all.
How hard was the walk back up? Honestly, on a scale of 1-suckssss, how hard was the breathing and was it exhausting? How many minutes did it take, if you can remember? I'm going in a couple of weeks and am trying to decide if I should attempt it.
The walk back up was a bit tough and took about 30 minutes I think. We had to stop a few times to catch our breath which made it take longer. One of the hardest parts though is avoiding the skiers since you have to walk back up a ski slope. We stayed to the side to avoid them. It’s pretty steep so wear snow boots. With all that said I still think it was worth it because when else can I you have fondue with igloos and the Matterhorn
That was quite the trek! Gosh we miss Zermatt.
We miss it too!

How did you get down? Did you walk back up to Rotenboden or to Riffelberg?
You walk from the train stop then walk back up it! There are walking directions on their website that helps too
When have you been there, guys? :)
We went in January!
