Dear Robert, thank you for the video. I guess this sander can only be used on flat surfaces. Is there such a thing as an even smaller sander that can be used on baseboards?
Yes, any 4" or so random orbital hand sander would do. That said, I happen to have a soft spot for the gear driven version of this tool made by Festool. Faster than a belt sander, and use highest grit you can find, 24 grit I believe, it moves material. Then again, 1/2 inch of pine is super fast, 1/2 if oak is going to take a while no matter what you use ... :). Good luck!

Can you take off 1/2 of wood fast or will it take a long time?
