The emperor made everything about him. *Ruyi was IN PRISON FOR 3 YEARS!!!* Yet he's complaining about being emperor?

*Qianlong didn't even same to care nor had any plan on rescuing Ruyi from the Cold Palace at all* , and it was only after the Double Ninth Festival fire did he "suddenly" remembered Ruyi's existence, hence her words "Your Majesty made it seem like I took a stroll in the Imperial Garden" takes on a new meaning
He destroyed her when he forced her to be his empress. While everyone else was demanding respect, she inspired it.
A'RUO was too stupid/naive to play palace politics. She knew Ruyi had a special standing. Did she really believe it would be that easy to replace her? Didn't she realize those who 'helped' her get rid of Ruyi, would also get rid of her when she was no longer useful to them?
A full belly, nice clothes and a place to live are not worth your peace of mind.
@@katherinkeegan8601The funny thing is, A’Rou had all of those things when she lived as Ruyi’s dowager servant. She even had a little power as Gugu. But as is the norm with greedy people, she was never satisfied. Kept wanting more and more. Like Ruyi said, “you ruined your own future.”

I’ll never understand people who get all pissed off and destroy their own stuff. Twice, A’Rou has these temper tantrums and smashes her own things. Silly, stupid girl. She had no business trying to be a mistress.
