The sequel to my sax quartet 'Final Boss', performed beautifully by the Assembly Quartet! The fun doesn't end here too, there will be one final video game-inspired sax quartet called 'Adventure Awaits' that'll be out later this year!! @@hanni_soundcraft Great, glad you enjoyed them! Just thought it would be a nice way to add some drama and unpredictability to an otherwise tranquil piece.
Thanks so much, glad you like it! The piece will be professionally recorded by the Assembly Quartet for their newest album, and I'm planning to expand this for concert band next year!
My sax quartet and me are submitting this piece to a super prestigious program called Midwest. If we get in we get to perform at Chicago. Wish us luck!
The Midwest Clinic? That'd be incredible! I typically go to the conference every year, so I'd love to hear you there if you get accepted. Best of luck!
This is an amazing piece! I love how whimsical it is. would you ever think of writing a 3rd part to finish Final Boss and Moonlit Village or is this the last part?
@@_canon5519 I appreciate it! Yes! I actually finished a third movement a few months ago, but the movements are in reverse order so the newest one is the intro called Adventure Awaits.
I'm very fortunate that this quartet performed live at the University of Southern Mississippi and this was the recording they got from the recital! It's always helpful when a university mixes and masters the recordings themselves.

Absolutely significant influences for this work! I wanted to capture the simplicity and warmth of Hateno Village or New Bark Town. Appreciate you!
It's giving Hateno village!! nicely done
you son of a... you beat me to it.
@@rolsen77 I had a whole Spotify playlist of video game songs that inspired this piece, and Hateno was close to the top!
The amount of nostalgia this piece gives off.. great job once again! Listening to a new composition of yours is always a highlight of my day.
Very nice 👏🏼 those key changes sound very elegant.

One of your greatest yet, fantastic job, would love to hear this fully mixed on a record someday or in a game

Hi, how did you get such a beautiful sound when recording? I'm trying to recording my trumpet for my compositions but it's not sound good...
