Your fixing holes are too close to the corners. The fixings should be 150mm away from the corners.
Not too sure you should be making videos on how to install a window when you aren't actually doing right

No packing pieces to fill up the gaps to stop the screws pulling the frame out of alignment, towards the wall aperture, then?

Easy way to sort that, if u fix a timber above as a head packer u can then fix up into the timber then trim over it

If I'm fixing window just to a garage (so not too fussed about drafts etc) will I get away with just putting screws in the two vertical sides?

No fixing top and bottom?😂and never level on the front of a cill unless doing it underneath the front lip

There seems to be two schools of thought, one use packers and no foam, the other is no packers and foam. What’s your perspective on this?

I use both!

You don't need packers with concrete screws, they are threaded full length so they grip the UPVC and this holds the window solid without distorting the frame, just make sure not to drive them too deep. This is better than using normal fixing screws (with plugs) against packers because those compress/distort the frame profile.
