Mercari advice....... BEWARE BUYERS THAT ask for images on higher price rare items, and then say they are having problems sending payments.... often they want to have it sold off platform.
That type of scam happens on EVERY platform.

At the time I only sell on Ebay but may look into expanding to another platform at some point so I really appreciate the info. I love that I can watch you and get ideas on what to look for especially with the toys. My children and grandchildren are all grown so I'm not very smart on toys anymore especially the ones after the 90's. Thank you for sharing!

I have sold a few things on Mercari. Like you I s usually stuff I can’t sell on eBay. I should probably look into selling more on that platform.

I don’t care much for Mercaris payment system maybe it gets better after the first sale idk but made me wait 3 days for the buyer to rate which they didn’t and it got auto rated.. eBay releases my cash like the day after I ship
I’ve sold on Mercari and EBay for awhile. The nice thing about Mercari is that the customer has 3 days to complain. After that, it’s not your problem. Also, the sales notification are always delayed

Better take a look at the new terms of service. Buyer can return for any reason.
Timely video. I just signed up at Mercari and am thinking about posting a few listings over there. I sell on Etsy a little bit too, and like the idea of not putting all of your eggs into one basket. Not too keen on messing with the cross-listing apps, but will probably list different items in each place.
We’re a ways off from needing an app too. Just getting our feet wet first

They change the label system too print with thermal printers a few months ago on mercari

I started on Mercari about six months ago and at the time they didn’t support the thermal label size. The first few sales I had to screen capture and whittle it down to make it work. I’m similar to you all on there I put some things eBay won’t let me sell. I also put old stuff that seems to not be going anywhere on eBay. I have one item that Mercari won’t let me sell that I have on Poshmark. For some things I have luck on Mercari but the rest are in low offer hell.
Try the auto features, they’re a time saver

MERCARI sent me a cheap look-a-like product. I will never deal with them again.
We crosslist almost everything in ebay to Mercari and some to Etsy and facebook Marketplace.
We hope to get to that point some day!

@@Jacqueline_R Almost all of Grams & Pops videos have a some types of tips for Ebay. I started a Ebay account in 1999 and just dug in and learned. Now you have many people to watch and learn how. My wife (Trish) and I started this Ebay account and a few years ago and have been working it ever sense. We now list in list perfectly and cross list to Ebay, Mercari, Etsy, Depop, Poshmark and Grailed and like Grams & Pops we cross list some to Market Place. Enjoy!

I have hundreds of Funko Pops, Funko Pop/Tshirt Combos, Funko Sodas, Funko Rewinds (ALOT of Chases and some Commons). I've never opened any of them out of the box and r in pristine condition. MANY varieties like Horror, Music, Movies, Sports (alot of Jordan's and the complete USA Dream Target Exclusive), Marvel, DC, Blacklights, Glow In The Darks; etc. Also have unopened and mint NECA'S, MEGO'S, KENNER'S, MCFARLANE'S, SUPER7'S, HANDMADE BY ROBOTS, DIAMOND SELECT TOYS, TRICK OR TREAT STUDIOS MASKS (HALLOWEEN ENDS MICHAEL MYERS AND CAPTAIN SPAULDING from House of 1000 Corpses (both masks r in pristine condition, they've never been worn, and both still have the original tags attached). I am trying to find the best place to sell my collection or pieces of my collection. I've been doing most of my selling through Facebook Marketplace and would like to venture elsewhere. Any tips or advice would be gratefully appreciated 🙏
