I used to have the WORST insecurities and went through some really hard times after my parents got divorced and we had to move and my best friend left me, I had completely changed and wasn't a good person anymore and would lie and be so rude and horrible. So last summer I decided to change that and spent the whole summer not hanging out with anyone which was really lonely so I watched a lot of UA-cam and stumbled upon your channel and I've watched you ever since😭💞 now I'm back to my old self and I'm happy and empathetic and have friends again and I'm CONFIDENT which I've never been so it means so much to me and I owe it all to you💞💞

That's such a honesty and humbling comment. And brave. You seem like a very mature girl for one so young. It's so uplifting and sweet to see comments like yours on UA-cam these days. There is so much negativity anymore on here, that when someone brings it back to how it used to be (how it SHOULD be) and Just talks cosmetics or just leaves a compliment.. It's refreshing. I have watched some of Christine's videos but your comment and how down to earth and honest she seems I this video will make me an everyday watcher! Thank you for that..i was getting tired of the same old UA-camrs that all seem to be either selling their souls to the makeup industry or... Getting accused of it and you can't even leave a nice comment or opinion on their channels bc drama hungry trolls will try to twist whatever you say or try you. I'm too Damn old for that! Ain't got the time hunnay. Lol. Anyways. Yeah, didn't mean for this to get this long lol, but just wanted to say thank you for being brave enough to admit you weren't perfect and that someone was able to help you get through it and be a better you! Everyone these days throws stones and lives in glass houses and it's nice to see makeup tutorials are more than just the makeup for alot of us! I have a hard time explaining this to my family most of the time, and I watch bc I have slot of physical daily pain (fibromyalgia) and UA-cam is my escape and distraction... Without books and UA-cam...i don't know if I'd be here honestly pulling through it every day. But I found my outlet to distract and inspire me! Now I'm trying to build my own channel! Just a few more things and I'll be up and running.. Fingers crossed!

Sienna Collins i just purchased the cc cream !! It works. Its my new go to and i can't live without it. It literally looks like bare skin and it is a skin care product. Its an awesome product !!

Hi Alice, yeah it does. Honestly, it has become my holy grail. I live on an island so during summer, it's hard to have a full face of makeup on and i need my even skin tone. This product does it for me. it is super light and buildable, it gives you an instant glow and it never looks like you are wearing any makeup. What i have noticed though, is that you need to make sure to regularly exfoliate for this to look good on you. Try it . my friend is mixed with darker skin and it even looks good on her. Magical i tell you. Let me know.
Worst case scenario, you could ask to try it at the make up counter. also i recommend the primer as well. it does make a difference but the product by itself is just as good cause i only got the primer a month into using the cc cream. :* xoxox

actually this type of CC creams is quite familiar in Korea, a lot of Korean brands have it.
@Caryn Langdon: You might also want to check out some over 50 gurus. Not that we can't learn from younger artists, but they haven't faced the challenges of maturing skin yet... check out Hot & Flashy, Uppie's Beads, Melissa 55, and Monique Parent; they all have amazing youtube videos.

Sun Rae Practice, practice, practice! I know some is talent. no denying that. some people just have a natural talent for makeup and art. But I still say you can become really good with a lot of practice. :) I used to just sit in my room at night and play with makeup, wash it off and play some more. I did that all night sometimes. And now I am pretty good. :)

I have that summery cargo palette and I use it all the time! Especially putting that blue shade on the lower lash line, lower lash line pops of color are my favorite pops of color!

DJ BRITTY blend x1000000 & always use a good transition shade that works for your skin tone & a good blending brush! also, if you have issues with smokey eyes, use browns or something lighter to worth with before using blacks or darker colors. hope that helps :)

You use SOOO many different brands like: 4-5 different brand primers, 2-3 different brow items, 2-3 different foundations. Could you make a video with the ABSOLUTE staples in your makeup bag. Like the ONE primer u can't live without, the ONE foundation you live and die for ect....So when I'm shopping in thinking should I pick smashbox primer, the cover effects primer or the tarte primer ???? And the eyeliner there are like a 100 of them ?!?!

I absolutely love the pink primer and the CC cream on you when you did that Korean andamerican makeup tutorial you could visibly see the difference between your skin. It looked so much better on the Korean side and I'm so happy you used the same combination in this video. The results were so mind-blowing I'm thinking of buying the products because I hate to say it but you have a lot of texture and Imperfections and the fact that it made your skin instantly change is amazing
