1) don’t use brushes for foundation, use a beauty blender
2) use primer
3) you can use a lot of product but not all at once; apply some, let it dry, then see if you want more

Something I learnt from Wayne Goss is that I apply my first layer of foundation, then I do my eyebrows, then go back to add a bit more foundation if needed.
Finally! A beauty guru talking about how less is more! She went VERY light on her foundation and STILL looked flawless! Beautiful and helpful!

You honestly only need to wait 5-10 minutes. Any longer and your face will look dry when you finally apply the foundation.

I’ve watched this video, your full coverage, contours do and don’ts along with the eyeshadow do and don’t, I cannot believe how good my face looked when combining the techniques to achieve the look I wanted! I’ve got horrible redness in the hollows of my cheeks and I used to over color correct but instead I just applied the foundation lightly and went back over the areas that needed it and voila! Flawless full coverage! Thank you thank you for posting these helpful tips and how to’s!

For oily skin I recommend the wet n wild photofocus primer it's cheap and works really well

What a great video. A lot of the things I already knew just through trial and error but I learned so much! I like the approach to setting powder just in the under eye area, applied with beauty blender, dusted off with brush and set temples etc with bronzer. Also the reminder to use thin layers and allow to set and apply another layer as needed! Sooo good!

So I totally needed to watch this. I am currently doing what you are suggesting is wrong and my results are no bueno. Going to try to use less under the eyes and wait a bit longer after applying moisturizer also I am going to try and not use powdered foundation to set all over. Lets see if I get a different result. I have a lot of texture on my face, and most of the primers I've tried don't smooth it out so my foundation looks extremely cakey. Any tips?
I probably should have mentioned that the texture is from acne. I'm sure that makes a big difference

glitt3rgir1 it's definitely expensive but the drunk elephant line (skin care) really works. The one with the pink lid completely cleared all my texture. It was all over my forehead and cheeks and it's gone now

Girl if having oily skin makes you look younger I'm going to die looking young lmao... My skin is literally so oily I have tried so many things to bring it down and it's just all there .
Lines and wrinkles show up and develop more easily on dehydrated skin, I believe.
That's so true! My brother and I are only 11 months apart. He has very oily skin, were I have always had very dry skin! Even as a teenager and he has no wrinkles! He looks 10 years younger than me and we're in our mid 40's!
Little tip, idk what face cleanser u use but do not, I repeat, DO NOT use a cleanser that says something like "use for oily skin" because those drying agencies in the cleanser will trigger something in ur face that activates more oils to be produced since those natural oils are being taken away with the cleanser.
